It is located in that part of the town where the local color has been preserved, in a quiet, peaceful place. From the windows of the hotel offers a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel is built in the style of traditional Bavarian architecture.More →

Spent one week at the Drei-Mohren at the end of July. The hotel was chosen only by the fact that at the time of registration of the tour there were still free rooms in it. The best thing about the hotel is the restaurant. Delicious food, fast service, very reasonable prices. For 60 - 70 euros you can have a very dense and tasty lunch for four.

The rooms in the hotel are quite consistent with three stars, they do not cause much enthusiasm, as well as complaints. Everything is neat and clean, cleaned on time, the staff is not an eyesore.
Breakfast is a standard buffet.
As for the view of the mountains (promised in the advertisement): from the windows of the hotel you can really see that there are mountains around, but on the one hand, the windows of the hotel look at the neighboring building and at the roof of the restaurant (respectively, to understand that the mountains are really beautiful, you need to lean out of the window about belt and look around), and on the other - to a rather noisy square on which at 7 am (local time) quite heavy traffic begins.

The hotel staff does not speak Russian and hardly communicates in English. Despite the presence of a Russian TV channel. The general attitude of the staff towards Russian guests is as follows: they smile, but strictly out of duty, and this is already very noticeable, requests are fulfilled, but at the same time it is clear that they are very reluctant. True, the waitresses in the restaurant dramatically improve their attitude after receiving a tip (at the level of 10 - 15% of the order amount).

A typical example of communication: I arrive at the hotel in the evening and see that the guest parking is completely full.
I turn to the reception with a question: Sir, your parking is occupied, but since your advertisement promises the availability of guest parking, can you recommend where to park the car? I get the following specific answer: like you rented only a hotel room and parking seems to have nothing to do with it, so put your car wherever you want. If you deeply understand the issue, then probably the way it is, but why be rude to the guest, who, by the way, paid your hotel quite a lot of money? Why not smile and "send" the client in a much more gentle way, simply informing him that there are several public parking lots around the hotel, completely free on weekends and on weekdays from 19 to 9?

My personal conclusion is the following: Bavaria is without a doubt a great place for tourism and recreation both in winter and in summer, but I will not stay in Drei-Mohren hotels anymore.
