Good day to all. We went to Germany on a business trip. Lived in Arabella from 22.2 to 26.2. 12.
We flew to Munich. We have winter, snowstorms, cold, and here it is already spring. The grass is green, the sun, the air smells of spring and so joyful in the soul! ; )
The Bavarian Alps are amazing! The mountains are all covered with huge fir trees, snow caps prop up the sky. The beauty!!!
It took about an hour and a half to get to the hotel. We passed some Bavarian villages, with real fairy-tale houses. It felt like we had returned to the past. Everywhere felt the national flavor.
The hotel stands on the shore of a huge lake. Now it is frozen, but in some places water is visible. Around the hotel are the Alps, huge fir trees and many, many hotels: such neat 2-5 storey houses. There are shops selling mainly sports goods, Bavarian sausages, beer and one souvenir shop.

The rooms were booked and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The hotel has two buildings, they are connected by an underground passage. Where the reception is, the rooms are smaller and the design is worse (maybe not in all rooms), but in the other building, the rooms are very spacious and beautiful. I lived in this one, but my colleague came across a tiny room in the national style of red color (both rooms are standard). Her room has a small bathroom with a shower, and I have a large bathroom with a good bathtub.
The hotel is decorated in the national style and the attendants are dressed in national costumes. I was struck by the Bavarian girls with delicate snow-white skin and a bright blush. A kind of "blood with milk"! Very beautiful, all with blond hair. Everyone speaks German and English. The service is excellent.
Power buffet, of course different from the Turkish. Many national dishes - you will lick your fingers. You can also order any dishes offered on the menu.
The hotel has a beautiful heated swimming pool. There are sun loungers, and in the summer stained-glass windows open, and you seem to be already on the street, next to the lake.
There is a sauna. I singled it out especially, because they say that the nat. a feature of visiting the sauna is a common room for men and women. i. e. they all wash together, but the locker rooms are separate))), I forgot to say that they are not allowed into the sauna in swimsuits, i. e. everyone is washed naked and together))). This was told to us by the translator, she said that it happens, but does she really not know in Arabella, and we, of course, did not find out. ))
Lots of families with children. It is interesting that people rest very quietly, in the sense that from Monday to Thursday in the bar at the reception, it is quiet, there is no one, and on Friday and Saturday they talk loudly, laugh, sing, play guitars. It immediately becomes clear that today is the weekend.
There is a walking path around the lake; people walk along it at any time of the year. You can have dinner at any hotel. One single road leads to the mountains, of course, because Arabella is primarily a ski resort. The funicular lifts skiers up the mountains. We did not ride and in principle did not see. You can also ride in a carriage there. Everything is in the traditions of the last century.

A feature of our visit was melted snowdrifts 2 times higher than human height and different weather. We saw different Bavaria: bright sun, snowfall, a small blizzard, rain, fog.
In one word: beauty, pleasant impressions and fresh clean air.
We met spring in February, and forgetting that I live in Kazakhstan, with a rather harsh climate, I checked my hat in my luggage. Well, why do I need a hat in the midst of spring? The motherland met me with a 25-degree frost....)))))
