A self-organized trip to neat, solid Munich left a lot of pleasant memories that I want to share.

Travel agencies offer tours to Munich, without a transfer, so I did without their services. Everything is clear at the airport, you move in the direction of the S-bahn sign, the green circle, the express ticket is 11 euros, it takes about an hour to go to the central station. It's a little exciting, because for the first time alone on my own without knowing the language, well, of course with English, but still, this is not an English-speaking country.

It was quite difficult to find a hotel near the central station, since there are a million exits from the transition, but I was lucky and I didn’t wander there for an hour. Convenient location of the hotel, metro, train station, central squares, shopping. The only negative, after dark, marginalized individuals appear on the street and it becomes scary. There are a dime a dozen of them.

The hotel is clean, middle price category, warm, duvet, soft pillow, hair dryer soap, towels are changed every day. Breakfast is very modest included in the price. Hotel Ambiente Garni.

Departure from Moscow was at 10 am and at 3 pm local time I already went for a walk to the central Marienplatz square. November 24 was Friday, besides Black Friday, which means the day of sales, and I got the impression that the Germans did not buy anything all year, but were waiting for this very day, as there were queues in some stores! There are a lot of people! The area is beautiful, the rathouse is the local town hall - the mayor's house, just an amazing building.

Stone lace. The huge facade of the building is decorated with figures of Bavarian dukes, kings, legendary characters and saints.

You can enter the patio and admire the decoration.

Several times a day, under the chime, you can see a small performance of 32 bronze figures in human height, although from a distance they seem like toys!

On Nyhauserstrabe street, in the same area of Marienplatz, there is a bronze sculpture of a wild boar, it looks funny.

There is a belief that if you rub a nickel on him, you will soon get rich or become happy). Piglet shines from the hands of dreamers. A wild boar flaunts against the backdrop of the beautifully decorated Hirmer department store.

In general, in Munich, there are good Christmas decorations, Christmas is felt.

And smells! Can't put into words! ! ! Then I took a walk and looked at the Karlstor gate.

On the second day, I got up early and walked in the same direction of the central square to take photos without a huge number of tourists.

On the way we met the world-famous beer house Hofbrä uhaus, in the evening tourists swarm around it, take pictures, just chat.

The interior is nasty. But this is a historical place visited by Lenin with Krupskaya, Hitler and even Mozart! ! ! Very popular place, worth a visit.

I met a statue of Juliet near the old town hall, next to the toy museum. Juliet also has a happy place, rubbing which, you will become happy in love)

In the afternoon I visited the German Museum. Very interesting, but only what is clearly shown is understandable.

Of course, it is better to visit the museum with children and a Russian-speaking guide.

On Monday, the weather forecast predicted a sunny day and I planned a trip to the town of Fü ssen, to see Neuvastein, for which this whole trip was actually started)

The journey with a transfer takes 2 hours, the trains are comfortable, there are few people in the cars with toilets, the views along the road are amazing.

The road pleased me and the whole day turned out to be magical.

There is a bus from Fü ssen station, it is easy to find it, since all arrivals, most go there. 10 minutes, the Bavarian ticket is valid on the bus too.

You can get to the castle on foot or by horse-drawn cart, interesting, but I went on foot.

There is a long road to the castle and to the Marienbrü cke bridge - the sign promises 40 minutes, I went the short way.

Half of the castle ended up in scaffolding, and the bridge was completely closed! The bridge from where the best view of the castle turned out to be closed!

I almost cried from disappointment and decided to try the long road, not in vain, I was driving from Zhukovsky.

And I did not lose) The road to the bridge was still closed to the public, but the most desperate tourists, despite the prohibitions, make their way. I am one of them! Oh, what a view from this bridge, oh, and the picture.

A miracle of miracles! A waterfall makes noise under the bridge and it’s scary to be on it, since it’s still forbidden. ))) I left with a happy heart, proud of myself that it was not in vain that I went on a long deserted road.

I spent the 4th day shopping and the Pinakothek. Unfortunately, the old one was closed that day and I went to the Art Nouveau exhibition in the new Pinakothek.

Well, what can I say, modern art caused me a lot of bewilderment.

There is no Russian audio guide, I was too lazy to take English, so I didn’t understand anything, but I was very impressed, I tried to understand at least something at the level of feelings, but only bewilderment was just that.

I went up to the observation deck of the Church of St. Petra, the view of the city and the town hall is beautiful!

I said goodbye to Munich, I will definitely be back! ! !

There is also a sculpture dedicated to the Little Red Riding Hood in Munich)
