There are two more water parks, an adult and a children's one, but we didn't go to it. Settlement did not wait long. The room was simply gorgeous, with an ocean view and a jacuzzi on the balcony. The room is spacious and bright. Having read before the trip that the Dominican Republic has high humidity and dampness in the rooms, we were very worried about this. In fact, it turned out that the room did not feel damp at all and things quickly dried out on the balcony. Perhaps because Barcelo Bavaro Palace is located a little further from the ocean. But the walk from our building to the beach was no more than 5 minutes. When choosing a hotel, we paid attention to many criteria, as we are always worried before a trip to a new country. Sometimes algae washed ashore, but the hotel staff cleaned the beach every day in the morning and evening, so as not to disturb the vacationers. I want to make a few clarifications about the staff. Everyone is friendly and smiling, but at the same time impossibly slow. This is rather a feature of the country, but I think that this should not apply to hotel staff. You can visit 4 of them for free. We cheated a little and visited all the free ones. The fish and steakhouses are just on top, but the rest are no less tasty. The hotel exceeded all our expectations. Although we are not fans of relaxing in the same place twice, next time in the Dominican Republic we will most likely choose Barcelo Bavaro Palace.
