Ola! Vacationing with a friend. We wanted to relax so that the walls shook and we 100% succeeded! Now I know for sure that rest completely depends on mood and company. Even if there were some disadvantages of the hotel, we did not notice them.
The flight was direct, fed twice, even managed to overeat. We were given blankets, so we didn't have to freeze. When they flew there, they practically did not notice 11 hours, only a nut was slightly streaked, but they walked a little - it let go. And on the way back, we slept almost all the time (we didn’t have enough strength), we woke up only to the smell of food.
We were lucky with the weather, although they say that in October it rained (mostly at night and for 5-10 minutes. The sun is merciless from 9 to 15, the rest of the time is tolerable, but you should not neglect protective creams. Even when swimming, take care of your face and shoulders - they will burn out in a moment The ocean is very soft and warm, there are almost no waves, and we have never seen any living creatures during the entire stay. We swam at night, it was a little cool, there were guards on the beach, but no one forbade swimming. Just don’t go far at night, the waves are very large , dangerously.

The animation is very similar to Turkish, bright costumes and incendiary dances. The truth is a bit annoying after 4 days. A stone's throw from the hotel disco. The first two evenings included Latin American music, when there were more Russians, the amount of European and even Russian music increased significantly. We went a couple of times to an exit disco at the Imagin club (just call it a club, I can’t turn my tongue, because outwardly it looks like a castle, but is located in an equipped cave). There are two halls inside (with Latin and European music), you can choose any one for the soul, there are sooo many people on the weekends. On weekdays there is only one hall with Latin music, but it was great there. The disco costs $55 (all inclusive with drinks and transfer) and $35 (transfer and two drinks included). We took one for 55 and the rest for 35, the one for 55 was "useful" for everyone. Drive from the hotel for 15-20 minutes.
I liked all the food, of course the meat is amazingly cooked, there is always chicken and pork. They hardly tried sweets, but it seemed to be nothing - everyone was dragging around with huge plates. I didn’t really like the juices, they seem to be freshly squeezed, but the taste is somehow strange. I liked the Japanese and Mexican restaurants, the Japanese dishes are cooked right in front of you, there is only a menu (dishes for everyone), the Spanish and Italian restaurants were not impressed, everything is very simple and not at all comfortable inside. In the morning they give cold champagne - it was very helpful. In the morning there are always pancakes and scrambled eggs, I really liked the bacon. And coffee... coffee in the coffee shop La Cafe - amazing coffee, I want to highlight Dominican coffee, but there is a large selection, there is even alcohol.
We lived in block 91, a very convenient location (I would say even the most convenient), not far from the reception overlooking the pool and garden with fountains. The rooms are standard (they were not only in their room, only the arrangement of furniture was different). The furniture is of course a bit old, but not decrepit and neat, I even liked the beds - large and high. The hotel area is large, but not huge, very green, lawns have always been trimmed and clean. Linen, by the way, was changed every day, sometimes even 6 towels accumulated, it is customary for them there if the towels need to be picked up by the maid, then it must be thrown on the floor. They left every other day for $ 1. There is a refrigerator in the room, every day they put three bottles of water, cola, sprite and two cans of beer there. Once they forgot to put it, we asked and they brought it to us. There is not enough light in the room, but for me it’s so normal, I don’t like bright light, and why is it needed if you come to sleep for only three hours, take a shower and change clothes. Beware of the air conditioner, it is very powerful and the temperature is not regulated... be sure to turn it off at night.
The service staff is very friendly. They always sing something under their breath and dance. After a couple of days, we ourselves did not notice how light steps were made to the rhythm of Latin music. I would especially like to note the black local guys - cuties, caring and always smile at you. Particularly partial to blondes)) hehe. Almost no one knows Russian, they communicated in English (I speak clumsy, my friend speaks fluent). At the end of their stay some of the waiters were taught a few words.

There is nothing to do outside the hotel, and it’s somehow dumb, although for general knowledge you can take a little walk, but keep your ears on the alert (especially for girls). We tried to find a wild beach from the hotel to the right, about which everyone wrote so enthusiastically... we walked five hotels along the beach (we sawed for three hours). We found something similar to this beach, twisted our faces, took a couple of photos and left. In general, the beach is "wild" about nothing, just a small abandoned and unkempt heel. And yet, compared to those hotels we passed by, ours was the best (of course they weren’t inside, but judging by the beach and coastline, they were definitely much worse).
For souvenirs, we went to the shops located to the left of the hotel, but not those that are closest, but which are farther away. You need to go through the first shops with impudent sellers, then go through an abandoned hotel (the place is creepy, as if everyone was evacuated in an instant). And then there will be long rows with many benches. I liked the boutique on the right side, reasonable prices, a large selection and the owner of the store, Liliana, speaks Russian. They even have a cash register (fixed prices). I regret that I bought few cigars (they are considered better than Cuban and so they are), rum (I have never tried a better rum than Ron Barcello Imperial) and larimar (a stone that is produced only there). Oh, and of course, mamahuana (like Viagra. . . likely), it's better to take the one that is more expensive, there are more components and much tastier. And bargain, bargain, bargain! We managed to bring down the price from 150 to 40... they called Russian mafia, but in the end they agreed to our terms.
There were very few Russians for the first three days, they were even surprised when they suddenly heard Russian speech. Then, as they came in large numbers, it seemed that they were everywhere. They all cooperated in groups (large and small) and always hung out together. We, on the other hand, wanted to somehow escape from the Russian spirit, so most often the communication took place "hi-bye" and an exchange of opinions about the rest and hotels. The rest was spent all the time with the French, Americans and Portuguese - new people, new faces, new opinions... much more interesting and informative. There were a lot of French people in the hotels.
Well, it seems that I didn’t forget anything from the main... I just can’t convey emotions, but we had a great many of them. Tears welled up as the plane lifted off the ground. I am even ready not to visit another new country, but to return exactly there, to this particular hotel with the same guests who were at that time. Oh yomoyo. . .
