Our vacation was planned from November 22 to December 6th.
The very first thing - we arrived already in the evening, we were already on our feet for almost a day (if you count the time difference and so on). Very tired, they got out of the bus in a group of about 16-18 people . . and then they all tell us that there are no free rooms ! ! (we all have papers on hand with an application for a standard number). And they didn’t have any free numbers at all. We decided, everyone consulted, we stood like that at the reception for more than 2 hours... we didn’t feel sorry for ourselves, because we were so tired that we had only one desire - to go to bed (not even eat, just sleep! ). honestly, I felt sorry for the couple who were standing nearby (apparently from Moscow) and the girl was all in tears - it seemed that they had something worse than all of us . . in the end, 4 people left us to wait again, and the rest were taken to another hotel. My husband and I ended up in a honeymoon suite! ! (block 6, last floor, but I don’t remember the number). The other 2 people were settled separately in other buildings - like block 93 and 75.
next morning: 5 hours time difference, plus early sun, so it wasn't time for sleep. We looked out, and there was beauty - the sea, the sun, sunbeds . . apparently we were not alone, there were a lot of ours at 5.30 in the morning . . and they were already cleaning the beach from algae, weeds and so on.
Breakfast: really pleased and pleased throughout the vacation - freshly squeezed juices (especially banana !! ), omelettes, sausages, cheese, vegetables and other cuts . . and all this is so beautifully decorated - all this did not cease to please the eye !!
then, the famous coffee bar - just stunned! ! I liked it very much. I'm not a particular coffee lover, I prefer hot chocolate, it was very tasty. DEFINITELY go and try everything !! ! Klim really often blew a lot, but tolerable.
Animations - also worth going, at least a couple of times. The staff of the hotel directly charge with positive, good mood! ! one thing you might not like - a little late start . .
in general, the Dominicans are very friendly, sympathetic, a little slow (this is their peculiarity - they live in harmony with themselves and the world, and are very united and spiritual in faith).
always help, some speak Russian, they understand. they also speak English and French. Russian girls worked at the reception - this is also a big plus.
about restaurants - indeed, Japanese is the best! ! very tasty, and most importantly, your dishes are animated in such a way : ) by the way, excursions are expensive - we went to Super Saona. I did not like the beach on which there were: blocks under water, it is impossible to enjoy the sea.
Service and cleaning in the rooms - clean, tidy. The truth is not so often the floors were washed (well, it depends on your criteria). they came to rest, and not to sit in the room. in our room it was like this: the bed is too big, and there is a TV set in front of it in the closet. Only the remote control didn’t work)) but it’s not scary. there was also a jacuzzi and a sofa in the room. So you could take a dip and look through the windows of the balcony at the sea, the beach . .
The bathroom was leaking from one of the faucets. They asked to fix it.
it was on the 2nd day of check-in in this room. But the worst was ahead: waking up in the sun on the morning of the 2nd day, I was horrified to find bedbugs on our pillows... !!! ! I've never seen anything like this in my life, I was horrified. what a holiday. . .
asked to process the room, or move to another hotel.
after dinner we were moved to another room (apparently the newlyweds arrived). A floor lower, literally under that other number.
it was about the same there: a big bed. Sofa and TV near the balcony. the bathroom had a jacuzzi and a shower. the ceiling peeled off and leaked a little bit.
in general, the bugs got us anyway after 2-3 days: then they didn’t give us peace for the rest of the vacation: at least they poisoned, at least not (then the cockroach got out, and given that the tropics, then imagine its size! ) My husband went bitten . with such still sensitivity as we have, it was unbearable: itching, itching all the time . . I have arms, legs, and my back . . I’m generally silent.

But bedbugs, as you know, live everywhere. And they are calmly tolerated with anyone: even sitting on you , at least on other people's things (take the same cleaning staff). So decide for yourself: how lucky of course. But for such money and such flight time it is better not to enter this hotel.
