After a recent vacation at the Now Larimar Hotel in Punta Cana, I decided to share my impressions about this hotel, maybe my experience will help someone who has not yet decided where exactly to go and which hotel to choose. The first thing I want to say is that the hotel is very close to the airport, we drove for about 30 minutes in total. The hotel met us very hospitably and cordially, offered cool drinks from the road. We rested at the hotel with two families, but without children, and our rooms were the most ordinary: Deluxe Tropical View and Deluxe Pool View, my husband and I rested in a room overlooking the pool. Immediately, the manager suggested that we improve our category, or pay extra for the Preferred Club, but we refused and did not regret it. Surcharge is not small from $500 to $1200 per room per week, and we refused. In fact, all rooms of any category in the hotel are the same in terms of area, only some difference in design and colors. Plus, the Preferred rooms have a jacuzzi on the balcony or terrace, although there is a jacuzzi in all rooms, but only in the bathroom itself, and plus improved service. But believe me, the service that we received while relaxing in the most ordinary rooms was no worse. . So, the check-in went very quickly, things were delivered to the room, everything is very professional. The room itself is spacious, cleaning was done twice a day, the mini-bar and all shower accessories were constantly full. There is free WI-FI in the rooms and throughout the territory, and even partially caught on the beach. There is a set for making tea / coffee, a safe (free of charge), an iron, an ironing board. Quiet air conditioning, the room is not humid, towels, bathrobes and linen, everything is snow-white and of excellent quality. In general, the rooms are very good, you can safely give them a five. The service is excellent, my husband had a birthday at the hotel, so our room was decorated, and they even brought a cake with candles and a bottle of champagne. Throughout the hotel you can find someone from the staff who would speak Russian. Any of our orders was brought to us on the beach, and even in the room. In restaurants, the service is lightning fast, neither the order nor the drink was waiting. The beach is excellent, at any time you can find a free umbrella with sunbeds. It is constantly cleaned, so there is no algae. In the same way, the beach itself is cleaned from the garbage left by the guests, you will not even meet an abandoned bull or a straw from a cocktail. The whole entertainment program is just super! Before lunch there were many active competitions, we were very politely invited, but at the same time not intrusive, so we almost always participated in everything. Aerobics, yoga, lots of free water activities, so you won't get bored. I can’t say that the food is mega cool, not enough seafood, and then some of them were every day. Coconuts with straws are carried along the beach, grills are constantly prepared near the pool, paella was made on the beach, and this is all in addition to the main restaurant. 6 restaurants, 2 cafes, something like 12 bars, you can't get around everything. One of the bars is for privileged guests only, but trust me. And the remaining 11 are more than enough! The quality of the drinks is excellent in any of them. We were completely delighted with the hotel and will definitely be back!
