New Year holidays
We boarded the plane (Transaero Airlines), the delay was poured out for 1.5 hours due to the processing of the wings. While waiting in the cabin, there was a clash between three drunk girls and a man who stood up for the honor of his wife, who was hurt. the steward did not react, but honestly tried to appease them (as a result, they interfered with all 11 hours with periodic skirmishes). In flight, one passenger had a heart attack, here the staff worked perfectly.
Finally land. We arrived at the Gran Bahia Principe Hasienda 5 * hotel. In principle, I liked everything, except for the leaking toilet. The rooms were cleaned perfectly, the towels were changed every day, the staff was friendly, the territory was clean (even the sidewalks were washed).
The hotel has an Ala carte system (the choice of any restaurant by appointment), which works at 3. In the main restaurant, the food was tasty and varied, except that tea and coffee were not served for lunch and dinner (they were sent to the bar).
Rest by the pool: music, a bar in the water, cleanliness, children in a separate pool.
Rest on the ocean: music, a bar with a little insolent local bartenders, in general, a little noisy and dirty, but the beauty and power of the ocean absorbed everything.
Our tour operator Southern Cross offered a range of excursions.
The first excursion was on catamarans in the Caribbean Sea to Saona Island. It is amazing. Snow-white beaches, clear sea, sun, starfish, shells, palm island... etc. The second excursion is Sanama Island. min. Further, our route was to the mountains on horseback to the waterfall, after we were taken to the island....the beauty is indescribable.
Excursions are expensive, but they are worth the money, I advise you to go.
The animation program is weak. For 14 days, we watched the Michael Jackson show 3 times.
Departure day: at the airport the delay was 1.5 hours, after that they put us on a plane, where we were kept for another 1.5 hours in a duhat. It was terrible. During this time we were not even offered water.
In general, the rest was not bad, new places, new impressions, new acquaintances. I advise everyone to visit this country.
