We spent 9 days of our vacation here, of course, a 12-hour flight is very tiring, given the time difference and adaptation, we concluded that the next time you need to fly for at least 14 full days. As for the hotel itself, I have mixed feelings. We flew in from Vnukovo, of course, like all guests, we wanted to move in as soon as possible and forget about everything. Before us, literally at the reception, there was a hitch with a Russian couple who were given a room in building 70 and they argued for a long time about being given another room. We were a little worried, decided to play it safe, and ask for a room closer to the beach, with the help of $ 30 we succeeded, we lived in building 62. There are no complaints, everything is fine, the room is huge with 2 beds, which is strange, why there are two full double beds in the room, except for families, but the hotel with the category 18+, in general, Christian children are wonderful. We decided not to fool our heads and just slept peacefully on the same bed, joking about the "alternate airfield" in case of a quarrel. Later, when we studied the territory, we realized why everyone dislikes distant buildings so much, they are in close proximity to the buildings under construction, respectively, it will be noisy, dusty and uncomfortable there. And what seemed strange that, when we settled after the first couple, there was a free room in our building. Perhaps the staff is trying to earn extra money in this way, or settles people according to their own preferences "like it or not. " So, the sediment, of course, remained. In my opinion, a significant deterioration in the quality of accommodation should be expressed in monetary terms (rooms should come at a discount, maybe for some tourists who plan to come to the room only to spend the night, this will not be important). But to settle people against their will there is wrong. The territory of the complex is huge, very green, the birds sing, Playa Bavaro beach is very picturesque, large, the sand is clean, fine, soft, very pleasant, I liked that no one bothers you on the beach, you can relax peacefully. Right on the beach there is a bar and snacks, during the day you can take whatever you want. Music plays national or dance music by the pool, so that it is not boring just to lie down, during the day the animators always offer to participate in activities: aerobics, yoga, dance lessons, even cooking shows). In the evenings, good, high-quality events are held in the theater: magic tricks, live music, various musical parody shows, we liked everything. As for food, I want to say that there is enough of everything here - the kitchen is on the level. We talked with Russians who come here not for the first time, some noted that the cuisine has become worse, I can’t say that - we liked everything. Despite the fact that this time we had an all-inclusive vacation, we were not too fond of gluttony, we tried to enjoy nature more, so I won’t write about the frills for a long time, in my opinion it was all-choose, I don’t want to. As for the outside life of the hotel, from the sightseeing nearby Manati Park, and took several excursions (2 Bananas) to Saona, Santo Domingo, and fishing.
