But this is all nonsense compared to what started at the hotel. Our registration took place in 3 stages. First, the manager from the reception began to look for our numbers, one found, and with the second, they started walking from one computer to another, calling somewhere, negotiating with another manager, and so on for about 30 minutes. Then we were told that the rooms would be ready by 15 o'clock, but at least they gave us bracelets and we were able to go out to eat. At 15:00, only 2 girls turned up at the front desk, one of whom registered a foreign group, and the second one found out by phone for about 20 minutes, and no one paid any attention to us at all. A line of people gathered at 12-15. Then it turned out that they all had a meeting from registration and they left after 30 minutes. After that, the entire first registration process began in a new way with going from one computer to another, telephone conversations and finding out what is not clear. As a result, after 40 minutes we received the key to one room, and for the second tale come after 17. Why didn’t we understand if the check-in was at 15, but we were already happy about this, because you yourself understand that after such a flight you really want to the ocean, or to the room! At 18 o'clock I again came to the reception, now I was more fortunate, and in 15 minutes I received my long-awaited key. Our friends, who arrived with a 7-year-old child on December 30, spent 2 hours at check-in.
But that was only the beginning. Then everything became even more beautiful! For New Year's Eve dinner we were seated at a Dominican restaurant. The table that was set for us is exactly under the air conditioner. At a temperature of 28 degrees outside, everyone came in open evening dresses, so it was simply impossible to sit at such a table. At our request to reduce the air conditioner, they kindly shook their heads, saying that of course, but no one did anything. When we asked to be moved to another table, they just frankly laughed in our faces that there were no more tables and nothing could be done. Only when my son had already demanded the administration and began to speak with them in raised tones, they suddenly found a table where there was no wind at all. But if you think that they did all this quickly, then you are deeply mistaken. Only after the third communication with the administration and the question of when they will set the table for us, they deigned to move. This whole process took about 30-40 minutes and all this time we were forced to sit under the air conditioner or stand on the street, since it was simply impossible to sit. I have never seen such frank neglect and rudeness in any hotel in the world, no matter how starred it is! And there is nothing to say about a 5-star hotel!
But this is not the end of all the charms of this hotel! At about 9 pm on January 1, something sparked or smoked in the Italian Restaurant, and the lights went out in the whole part of the Tropical restaurants. People from the dark halls began to be transferred to the restaurants of the Caribe section. At 11 pm we went to our room, which was located right in front of the entrance to the main restaurant, in complete darkness, only the path was lined with candles taken from tables from restaurants. At about 0-15 - 0-30 we woke up from a strong bang and they began to knock on our door. Opening the door, we saw security or security personnel asking us to urgently leave the room and go outside. And then an unprecedented picture unfolds in front of us: All three restaurants are burning with such fire that there is simply no point in extinguishing something there. The fire truck arrived about 20 minutes after we were taken outside. For about 40 minutes, all the evacuees stood on the street, who ran out in what and who guessed what to take with them. Someone's relatives were sitting in the casino at that time, so there was no information at all. We started calling to understand how the situation was in the second half. People made their way to their relatives through the bushes. All in all, it was a complete nightmare. Then everyone was taken to the Level unit, but it was also impossible to accommodate everyone there. Who sat on the street, who in the gazebos. Only at 2 o'clock we were allowed to return to the room. All restaurant buildings were smoldering, and there is simply nothing to restore there.
The hotel administration did not even consider it necessary to apologize to the people who spent 2 hours on the street, experienced a nervous shock. Whoever contacted them, they simply brushed it aside and apparently believed that it was normal, a fire in a 5 star hotel, when the prerequisites for it appeared at 21:00, and no one began to check and look for the reasons. And they just let half the restaurant burn down. The smoke detectors in the rooms did not work that evening.

Then just a wild horror with food began. The tables were not cleared, there were queues everywhere. Served in restaurants for 1.5 hours. Ideally, only restaurants worked for an additional fee.
Room cleaning left a lot to be desired. It was possible to find sand, and dirty glasses and threads on the floor after cleaning the rooms. Linen was changed only if a special piece of paper was placed on the bed. But alas, she was not in all the rooms, and therefore the linen there was no one for me until you catch the maid by the hand. Slippers and bathrobes had to be requested from the service, although they are declared and should be in the room upon arrival. Not a single bar had light snacks, not only at night, but also during the daytime between breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although all this was also stated.
The beach is not cleaned at all. The pool is cleaned when people are already swimming there. The area around the pool is washed when people are already sunbathing on the sunbeds. Buckets pour water and drive it to the edge of the territory. It's wet and slippery all around.
So, see if such a hotel can be a 5-star hotel and whether it is possible to recommend it to your customers without ruining the reputation of your company. I would not, and I will warn all my friends and relatives against visiting this hotel
