Territory. Compact, green, there is a pond with turtles and herons. Clean, tidy, beautiful. Near the reception is the main restaurant, lobby bar, several shops. Around the main pool there are buildings, a la carte restaurants.
Number. Was on the 3rd floor. Clean, high ceilings, jacuzzi on the balcony, room and bathroom (with shower) are very spacious. The room has a coffee machine (coffee is replenished regularly as it is used), a minibar (2 beers, water, fanta, cola, juice), an umbrella (very important! ). Slippers + bathrobes. Air conditioning, hair dryer, TV - everything worked properly. Cleaning and change of towels every day.

Beach. Big, lots of sunbeds. It is always perfectly cleaned, unlike the nearby Palladium chain. However, as already mentioned, there are no umbrellas, and you can’t really hide in the shade of palm trees. There is a water entertainment center - some of the services are free, some are paid.
The ocean is beautiful, the color is luxurious. The waves were very strong, the sand sucked into the depths of the sea. If you are not good at swimming, it is better to spend time near the shore. The sand does not heat up, it is very fine, it is very difficult to wash it out of swimsuits. Near the beach there is a bar and a restaurant (you can have lunch, dinner, but the schedule of its work remained unsolved - it worked for several days, then it did not work).
Nutrition. The choice is not too big, but everything is enough, the food is very tasty. There is such a division into European, American and Spanish cuisines. There is always pizza, pasta, bacon, fries, hot dogs, sandwiches, for lunch and dinner - grilled meat and fish (you choose a piece, they fry in front of you), fruits (pineapple, papaya, melon, mango, watermelon), ice cream. In the morning there are fresh juices, pancakes with banana and chocolate. Water, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are brought by waiters. But you should be prepared for the fact that sometimes not the first time, and sometimes they don’t bring at all (they forget). It depends a lot on how busy the restaurant is. Good a la carte restaurants - Mexican, Italian, Japanese, sea, grill. Snacks - buffet + choice of dishes from the menu + there is a wine list (paid), free drinks are also available. A pizzeria is open at night (2nd floor near the amphitheater). I can’t tell much about alcohol, we only tried wine in restaurants, beer in a bar and non-alcoholic cocktails - pina colada, cubalibre (the most delicious in a bar near a pizzeria, 2nd floor, worse on the beach).
Compared with the Barcelo complex, the hotel is small and boring, there are no parties, a huge territory, a casino. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

The host was Anex tour. The cost of excursions starts from $ 100 per person, the difference between local agencies is about $ 50 per person. It is worth visiting traditional excursions - Saona, Samana, you can Redonda (included in some excursions), an unforgettable experience from a helicopter flight (from $ 90 per person for a 10-minute flight).
If you face the ocean, then after walking along the beach to the right (along the Palladiums), for about 20 minutes, there will be a Russian Ola store, where you can buy a local SIM card - $ 4 for 5GB for 5 days, rum and souvenirs. The cost of everything is significantly lower than in the store at the hotel. Average prices: rum from $10 (good, local, not for export from $60), lip balms $5, cocoa butter $6, magnets $3-5.
