We went on a honeymoon trip. We chose a hotel for a long time, re-read a bunch of reviews and focused on money. This "4" is at an affordable price, "5" is decently higher.
1. Flight. It was hard to get to the Dominican Republic, because. we flew during the day, but it was easier to return, we flew out in the evening (although we flew from Punta Canna to Santo Domingo, we were unloaded there, the plane was removed and launched back), slept through the night and woke us up almost before landing.
2. We arrived at the hotel, checked into a room on the 1st floor in building 12, it smelled strongly of dampness. On the trail. day they moved to the 24th building on the 3rd floor, everything was ok there, only with a heavy downpour the roof leaked)))). In general, the rooms are tired, especially the bathroom, it is clear that the hotel is old.

3. Food was in abundance, a lot of vegetables, meat, fruits. Especially liked the mango, papaya, fish steaks, cakes and coffee. Seafood was scarce, it was served as an addition to salads. Lots of delicious liqueurs and martinis.
4. The ocean is beautiful, the beach is clean, algae are constantly removed. Sunbeds under umbrellas had to be occupied at 6.30. A lot of people, there was not enough space for everyone under umbrellas, otherwise you have to be in the sun for a day. You can do step, yoga, water aerobics. Souvenirs were bought in a store for Russians, go to the right along the beach for min. 15 walking steps, there is a direct sign “We speak Russian”. There is the cheapest coffee, they took $ 3.5 each, in the city it costs $ 5-5.5, also rum, magnets . .
5. We ordered a photo session through our guide Travelservice, paid $ 360 and regretted it. They take pictures purely mechanically, they don’t care how you look, whether your eyes are closed or not, how your clothes lie. We sent 300 photos and 5 retouched ones, but no correction was noticed on these 5 photos! ! The bruise on his leg and the herpes under his nose remained untouched.
As a result, out of 300 photos, you can choose 10-20 beautiful ones. For that kind of money, you can take a picture with a photographer from the hotel, their photo costs 10 dollars, but you can negotiate cheaper.
5. Medicines are expensive, it’s good if you don’t need anything, but just in case, take, among other things, a set of tablets, something for a sore throat (cold cocktails do their job) and iodine. Small wounds do not heal, because it is very humid... And sunscreen must be taken with high protection.
In general, the rest turned out to be good, but we will not go to this hotel anymore, we will try something better.
