A very unexpected discovery - this wonderful hotel. The Royalton is actually a detached hotel within the Memories Splash Hotel. Or rather, it stands on its first line, that is, the premium line. It is new, and domestic tour operators have not been properly studied, respectively, be prepared for the fact that you will not meet Russians there. Bye. The bulk of the vacationers are Canadians, of which 90 percent of the total mass is on the second line of Memory Splash, there are more Russians, we could freely move on foot or in wagons throughout the territory, but we got there only once - we looked at the water park and drove back "home". We're still better. The rooms and decoration of the lobby and reception are somewhat reminiscent of Bavaro Barcelo, the reception area is two-level, you don’t need to wait for check-in, they check in after the fact. Very convenient organization of space for movement, everything is nearby, logical and understandable. Somehow everything is arranged so that everything is nearby. We didn’t use the trailers at all, we walked around the territory, it’s more pleasant. Several bars on site, by the pool and on the beach, always free sunbeds and palapas. The beach is very well maintained, clean, the picture is simple! The waves are not strong, the entry into the water is gentle. Again, the feeling that the hotel has been operating relatively recently, and while you can relax in it to the fullest, because there are a little less vacationers than it should be. The food is not just good, but excellent! And most of all I liked the menu of the main restaurant. There is a lot in total: a huge selection of seafood, as many eyes run wide, shrimp and mussels cooked in all possible ways and variations, juicy tuna steaks, with vegetables, as the husband says, “eat the mind”, meat, well, everything from jerky to marbled beef, whole mountains of all kinds fruits. I have never seen such diversity, frankly. With a clear conscience, she allowed herself to try whatever her heart desires, but within reasonable limits. It is best to arrive for dinner before 7 o'clock, in which case you can choose the most comfortable tables and the waiters will serve you right in twos or threes. The dress code is mandatory, the contingent of vacationers is very decent. Excellent! After dinner at the Theater, obligatory performances, and completely different. You can get to a foam party, or you can listen to saxophonists or violinists. During the day, the animation is also on the level, and rich and interesting programs. There are concerts on the main square in the evening, they always sing something and after dinner they arrange additional tables with drinks and snacks. During our stay, we only left the hotel twice to go on excursions, we really wanted to go to Santo Domingo and Saona. We went through the Russian agency 2banana, booked tours in advance by phone.
