The number did not make a positive impression on us. Rusty doorknobs, mirrors blackened from moisture, showers covered in limescale, gray shabby towels and bed linen with holes!!! ! bathroom and on a beautifully made bed. We decided not to emphasize our rest on the room, because we mostly came there to spend the night. We didn’t feel theft on ourselves (thank God), everything valuable was put away in the safe, although it also caused some doubts. The sun loungers leave much to be desired - elongated, dirty and broken . Animation only danced: dancing and exercises on the beach, dancing in the evening.
As for the territory of the hotel - I'm happy, I also liked the food, and especially the a la carte fish restaurant.
What I will never regret is the excursion to the island of Saona. I advise. Awesome! I fell in love with Altos de Chavon (the village was built 30 years ago of stone in the style of the 17th century). Mike Jackson got married there. The Caribbean Sea is of indescribable beauty, we dived for starfish (of course, just to take a picture with them). We returned back on a catamaran.

A good excursion to Santo Domingo. But of course it is more for lovers of history and antiquity. We bought jewelry from Larimar (beauty), coffee, cocoa, rum and cigars there. The coffee is amazing!
In the Palma Real shopping center, they connected to the "local SIM card", and I do not advise buying souvenirs and rum with cigars in it. Much more expensive than you can buy in Santo Domingo.
You can swim with dolphins in Monatipark.
In general, if you do not think about the room, I liked the rest. I would return again to this heavenly place, but to ANOTHER HOTEL.
Good luck to you! Amazing travels!
