I returned from this hotel a couple of days ago. I chose a hotel for a long time, counted a lot of laudatory reviews and really regretted that I had not paid extra for a hotel "a little more expensive". The hotel is the cheapest in point-kane and really pulls on 3 *.
Walking along the beach, I looked at many hotels of the shipbuilder's neighbors - palladium, occidental, barcelo bavaro. If I am in the Dominican Republic again, I will choose one of them.
Disadvantages:
1. The hotel is 98% Russian. And worse than ours in the dining room, only the Chinese: ) The shame for our country, which I experienced during the analysis of food at the Christmas dinner, cannot be expressed in words. And what the bartenders have seen, you won’t dream in a nightmare ...
2. Beach. Really dark, and it is true that there are needles, and there is not enough sand. But they wrote about all this, but I didn’t believe it : ) The last few days I went to the beach of the Palladium Hotel.
3. Food.

4. Numbers. I lived in building 5, my sister in 7. Both had a sea view. Poor, dirty. Both she and I had cockroaches in the rooms. Mosquitoes too.
5. Be sure to take a fumigator! ! ! !
I saw my child so bitten only after a vacation at my grandmother's dacha on the lakes of Belarus. Where are found all species of mosquitoes known to mankind : )
6. It was cool. I don’t know, maybe it’s seasonal, a strong wind was blowing. In the evening, the child needs a blouse. During the day on the beach wrapped in towels. It rained almost every day.

But if the funds are "running out", you can still live in this hotel. Have a nice holiday!
