Our fabulous Dominican Republic
Ola amigos, I want to tell you a little about our honeymoon trip to the Dominican Republic in the period from 28.07 to 07.08. 2014. We went on vacation right after our wedding the next day. A little advice: fly to the Dominican Republic not for 7 days, but for at least 12, because. to fly far, the flight is hard to bear and of course this is a big difference in time. My husband and I rebuilt for three days, the first days we generally walked neither alive nor dead, we always wanted to sleep and didn’t understand what was happening around, but that’s us : ) We chose the Biblio Globus tour operator, the guide even helped us a couple of times, for which we thank you separately. The hotel we had was Caribe Club Princess Beach Resort & Spa 4, green area, ducks, chickens, turtles, many pools, different flowers, varied food, a casino, to which a special car runs. They did not check us in immediately, we flew in in the morning, and received the key to the room only at 15:20, and okay, it didn’t upset us at all, while we waited, bathed, ate and even rested a little, so to speak earned a second wind. We liked the room, the area is very large, a huge bed, everything is clean, comfortable and pleased with the jacuzzi inside the room, you can only dream of this : )
Tours. My husband and I bought only one excursion for stingrays and sharks. In general, the excursion is not bad, my husband most of all liked swimming with fish and snorkeling than with a stingray and a shark)) I would not go on this excursion a second time.
Beach. There are a large number of sun loungers on the beach at the hotel, so there was enough for everyone, and if you come early in the morning, then you can take a place under a palm tree, we did that : ) The ocean is just a fairy tale, so warm, gentle, with small waves, then blue turquoise, straight heavenly delight. I never wanted to leave the ocean, we could sit there all day, only when we sat, then we burned out, because the sun in the Dominican Republic is very strong and one cannot do without cream. We used protection 50, my husband was still red like cancer)) Every morning we observed a small amount of algae, but not only on the beach, but also a little in the water. The hotel staff of course tried to clean them, I don’t know if we were so lucky, or maybe it’s just the season. I also want to mention the annoying Dominicans on the beach, despite the security, they still come up and offer either glasses or hats, not pleasant, I immediately remembered Egypt.
At the hotel we met a small group of Russian guys, we spent all the time with them, because it's more fun.
And so the main purpose of our trip was a wedding ceremony on the beaches of the Dominican Republic, for which we were preparing for quite a long time, we carefully chose the organizer, and as practice has shown, there are many of them in the Dominican Republic. In general, I wanted beautiful photos, beautiful design and a good attitude. Most of all, they were afraid to pay a deposit, because these are people in another country and you don’t know them, but this is already mine, I always play it safe. In general, we decided to book a wedding in the company of Hummingbird on the island of Saona and a love story in the town where Michael Jacks got married, in Altos de Chavon, and we had a photographer Tatyana Zubrikova, and you know, it turned out to be much more incredible than it seems in the photo, live everything is completely different. We will never forget that day, August 1.2014. It was the same important day for us as the wedding in Russia. Tanya's team made my dream come true! In such colors and emotions! The most intense, emotionally warm and memorable day spent in the Dominican Republic! So beautiful and touching, and the decor was just wonderful! I am so glad that I finally convinced my husband to go to the ceremony. And in the end he turned out to be very happy and then he waited for me more than the photos that we received soon and still regularly review them, remembering our Caribbean wedding. Almost a year has passed and I just now found the time to talk about our trip, maybe my review will be useful to someone, although how many people have so many opinions.
