The trip to Tallinn turned out to be a pleasant accident. Initially, my sister and I planned to visit Riga.

However, it did not work out, but we did not regret it at all.

We went from the travel company Anastasia Jaye: "Vacation Formula".

They advised the tour, all prompted, helped to collect documents. In a word, thank you!

The choice of the hotel, first of all, was to ensure that it was as close as possible to the center, then the selection went on at the most reasonable prices, and the views of the hotel and its rooms, dear to the heart.

Actually, that's how we stopped at the St. Olav Hotel, with friendly staff and cozy rooms.

On the first day we went and walked around Tallinn.

Sightseeing tours, a lot of interesting information.

Detailed information of interest to you can be found in guidebooks, or from a guide if you decide to visit the city.

All tourists are told almost the same thing, so I do not consider it necessary to talk about it.

Here I will share information about the places that a local resident told us about, whom we met on the train, and which other information sources are silent about.

1. Gallery and marzipan shop | Martsipanigalerii ja pood.

Tallinn, Pikk 40.

Marzipan in its most diverse manifestation is presented in their museum on the -1 floor (entrance 25 eek).

There are also a lot of souvenirs in the store on the 1st floor, striking in their beauty and skill (cheaper and more diverse than in the store opposite the Russian Embassy, where all tourists are sent).

And one more nice moment for 40 eek you can mold a marzipan figurine yourself!

A beautiful woman helps you, telling you how and what to do to make it go well, and then, when everything is ready, the figurine is packed and you pick it up.

It turns out a magnificent souvenir of its own production.

2. Restaurant "At Grandma's" | Restaurant "Vanaema Iuures".

Tallinn, Rataskaevu 10/12.

Hospitable restaurant with reasonable prices.

The portions are huge, we took one second course for two.

I especially remember the vegetable soup with cheese - it was wonderful!

And no less divine baked apple.

Delicious like grandma's and very kind.

3. Beer house.

Tallinn, Dunkri 5.

This establishment is very hyped.

Tourists from all over the world and the restaurant is always crowded.

The beer is delicious, freshly brewed and immediately to the table%)
