They decided to combine work and leisure during the popularly beloved holidays of the end of winter and the beginning of spring (March 1-8).
In order: they decided to learn how to wing-surf, Denas Tour suggested the Egyptian city of Dahab on this occasion. Personally, I was very surprised, because I always considered Egypt a paradise for divers, and I had not heard anything about the fact that they also surf there. In short, a slight wariness gave way over time to the understanding that it,... Egypt, is multifaceted and unpredictable.
First, about the city: a taxi to the city takes about 3 minutes (do not give more than 5 pounds to taxi drivers), Geographically, Dahab stretches for 5-6 km. from south to north, along the sea coast, the central district of Dahab, Masbat, is sometimes called the "Old City". The picturesque embankment stretches along the entire coastal part of Masbat and is a favorite place for vacationers to walk, there are a lot of interesting things here: stylish souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes, tour desks and diving centers. In the south of Dahab there is a lagoon "el kura" (on the map it looks almost like an Italian "boot"), it is precisely thanks to it that divers and surfers manage to get along here.

We flew from Yekaterinburg to Sharm El Sheikh. At the airport, in Sharm, we were met by a minibus and safely taken to our hotel - GANET SINAI 3 *. The hotel is quite decent with a normal level of service, I can not say anything bad about it. We had breakfast and dinner there. We dined on the embankment, in the aforementioned cafes and restaurants (for about $ 4).
Now about wing surfing, as such, for which we actually went there. Our hotel was close to a Russian surf station, with Russian speaking instructors and staff. We immediately bought a 3-day course (4 hours a day), in order to learn how to at least stand on the board, in principle, this was quite enough for all members of our team. In the same Laguna we rode, fun and carefree. The north wind mainly prevails there, and the waves are very small - just right for people like us who are “first time in first class”. All, in general, were satisfied with the weather, and nature, and the quality of service.
In addition to surfing, people come there to dive (along the coast there is a fairly large reef), I won’t write anything about diving, because we didn’t dive there at all. It was just very funny to look at the groups of divers diving and popping up simultaneously from the cafe on the waterfront. You can pretty much have fun with them during lunch.
In addition, people go kiting there (in the lightest part of the lagoon (see the map) it is rather shallow, and there are almost no waves, they ride kites and sailing catamarans there). Many more dive with masks. In short, the bulk of the tourists are young people who go to Egypt for outdoor activities. Well, there are still many families with children of all ages (children, by the way, also enjoy boarding there in the shallowest part of the lagoon)
The main advice about surfing is that if you buy a training course, it should last at least 3 days - during this time you can really learn something (less is just money down the drain).
Tipping we left minimal, and sometimes did not leave them at all - no one even once cheated on us. Taxi 5 pounds - this is the chapel, to the city, however, very close.
By the way, unlimited WiFi Internet cost us 21 euros a week (this is in addition to the fact that, by the way, we went there to work, not anyhow)

I just want to say a big thank you to the organizers of the tour for the fact that everything was well organized, everything was on time and calm, and in general the adventures were, thank God, only pleasant.
