I'll start from afar. The trip was planned in advance, after reading the reviews, opinions and impressions of others, I almost decided that it was not worth going to Egypt. BUT! After thinking again, I decided to take a chance and try this direction. To be honest, I was very afraid of disappointment until the moment I checked into the hotel.
Well! Let's start.
I decided to book the trip with a tour company, chose TezTour and did not regret it for a second. Probably more expensive with them, I don’t know because I usually go without tour operators. But I was very satisfied with this tour company, I recommend!

Upon arrival, having read and seen enough reports about accidents, etc. , I was waiting for an individual transfer (car) to the hotel. They met me with a sign, gave me the coordinates of my guide to the hotels, put me in a brand new car with a nice driver, and we actually drove off. We drove for a long time, probably an hour and a half, the landscape was mountainous and deserted. The driver was silent all the way, for which many thanks to him, because I was very tired on the plane from the conversations of my neighbors. I didn’t drive, I drove very carefully, for which, again, thanks!
Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in took 3 minutes and the actual check-in to the room took another 10 minutes. After warnings from friends that I would have to beat my number anyway, I was ready and determined, but my determination was not needed. They settled me immediately in the room that was paid for, a suite with a sea view. The only incident was a cockroach that ran to inspect the room from the street, after which I was immediately offered to change the room to another one, but being an adequate person, I refused, realizing that cockroaches from the street could easily run to another room. It should be noted that before I had time to get the keys and start taking things apart, a man was sent to me armed with a spray against cockroaches. Fearlessly spraying my second patio shower was rewarded with $1.00.
The room is great! Comfortable bed, shower, jacuzzi, internet, TV, minibar paid (drinks in cans and chocolates), tea and coffee for free, hair dryer and other little things.
In the morning I crawled to the beach first thing, took a basket - a sunbed, and staked out a place in the sun and went to a restaurant in search of my breakfast. Breakfasts are varied, from yoghurts and muesli to Bavarian sausages and meat dishes. Everything is delicious, which again was a pleasant surprise, because after the warnings of all the same friends, I was ready to abstain from food throughout the trip. But the restaurants (there are 3) did not disappoint. Dinners were just as varied and tasty.
I must say right away that the feeling that you need to be constantly on the lookout did not leave me the whole trip. in vain! I have never encountered what I was warned about.

As for the beach, here I was a little upset. Of course, I was warned that I needed shoes, that the beach was not sandy, but coral, that the entrance was only special, but I hoped that this was all talk and I could enter anywhere. She was wrong and confirmation of this was not long in coming, on the second day she pulled an Englishwoman out of the water, who was dragged through shallow water, over all corals, hedgehogs and moray eels. She was without shoes and I assume that the needles were removed for a long time in the medical center. After that, I diligently walked to a special ladder.
Sea! I have not seen anything more interesting. Moray eels, hedgehogs, huge fish, colorful clowns and other species unknown to me, and all this in huge quantities. Once in a huge flock of fry, shining in the sun, she was indescribably delighted.
Dahab is a paradise for windsurfers, the wind is always or almost always here and without it it would be very difficult to cope with the heat. Ride from the heart on the surf (wind), skiing and of course swam with a mask.
Vacationers! Mostly Germans and British, there was a check-in before my departure, the French. I saw one Russian couple and a single man. I must say that this hotel is more likely for those who want to relax in peace and quiet. For this, there is everything you need and for every taste. Library, places for relaxation, spas, pools (salt and fresh, children's and adults) and the beach itself and everything that comes with it.
I summarize! Great hotel, great, relaxing stay. There is nothing to see in Dahab, but in such heat you don’t even want to leave the sea, let alone drive or walk somewhere. I really liked it. I rested for 5 minus, minus for the giant cockroaches in the courtyard where the shower is.
