About the good: a wonderful landscape (mountains and the sea, no garbage cans around you, like in the center of Dahab), very few people in the hotel, good food (but the menu doesn’t change much; almost all drinks are paid, but no one cares if they brought with them, as and everywhere in Dahab).
On the bad: the spa and, possibly, other entertainment facilities do not work; those. there is not much to do in the hotel itself; drive to the center ~10 km (ATTENTION: not all dive centers provide a free transfer to this hotel); the telephone and refrigerator did not work, I had to kick the reception all evening to change it; there are a lot of stairs, if you stop to go diving or to other places - it’s better not to settle below level 5, because. moving around the hotel is either up or down, and below (beach and pool) divers still have nothing to catch. Air conditioners and other equipment seemed to have been brought from an older hotel, it clearly does not correspond to the age of the hotel. At least one person who watches the lawns at night has a weakness for swimsuits drying on the chairs of the terraces of the rooms on the first floor (no kidding, that's what the national fashion for swimwear brings to the toes).
In general, a good hotel, if you close your eyes to the shortcomings. The normal price of a taxi to the center of Dahab is 20 pounds (it is better to immediately agree with some carrier and take a phone from him); the hotel asks for 40 + you have to wait a long time for the car. There is free Wi-Fi at the reception (but the router dies quite regularly, it's better to buy a local SIM card with mobile internet).
