We rested in this MIRACLE hotel with my husband from 25.12. 19 to 26.12. 19, yes, we rested only one day, but which we remember for a long time!! ! ))) In the morning we ran away from this hotel with a guide without looking back, it was not a pity to pay extra $ 100 for the remaining 4 days just not to stay on this "desert island")) I'll start in order, the hotel was chosen through shanta. tour, tour operator joint up, there was no time to re-read the reviews, we just trusted a friend (but in vain, you need to read the reviews and believe them !! ! ))) Arriving at the hotel with a family from Ukraine, we realized that we were resting 5 people, there was another one couple, but she was just leaving on the day when we arrived, they said that they were completely alone for a week))) It was the first shock to realize that in a hotel that is designed for 1000 people, in fact, only 5 !!!
And everything would be fine, but because of such a "huge" number of vacationers there was absolutely no choice of food, for breakfast, lunch and dinner it was all the same - scrambled eggs, onion soup, rolls, pilaf, sausages and olives, from fruits - sliced ​ ​ lime!! ! And everyone tried to get us drunk, but we didn’t feel like drinking at all, I wanted to understand how you can sell vouchers to an empty hotel!!!


Repair work was carried out on the territory, the water park did not work, not a single bar on the territory of the hotel also worked, it was stupid to hope that there would be at least some kind of animation and disco in the evening, but we sincerely believed in it))) Naturally, about any animation and there was no question, even music was not played anywhere throughout the day, the feeling was that you were in an abandoned hotel, where there had been no one for a long time and never had been !!!
After the plane, of course, I wanted to take a shower, but even here it was a disappointment - there was no hot water either in the morning, or in the afternoon, or in the evening, when I told the reception about it, they just smiled sweetly and said that the water should be drained for 5 minutes, then 10, then 15 ...as a result, further if she went down the whole day, the miracle would not have happened, she would not have become hot !!!

The hotel itself is located outside the city, the wind constantly blows there in December, the territory is open, I didn’t take off my jeans and jacket all day, but I planned to swim and sunbathe, because I was advised it precisely because there is little wind there))) Probably the only plus of this hotel is - this is a beautiful flat sandy beach, but what's the point if it's cold and there is no opportunity to swim and sunbathe))) At night we escaped with air conditioning, it was terribly cold, we slept in clothes, in the evening I just wanted to pack my suitcase and fly home!!!
Having survived the night, in the morning I began to pack my suitcase, I was clearly determined that we would not stay here for another minute!! ! We were supposed to meet the guide at 10.45 26.12, we waited for him and asked to be picked up from this hell!! ! He laughed and said that this is a bad hotel and that this is always the case here and tour operators know about it, but they don’t talk about it, they just make money on such tourists like us, in general, for the $ 100 that we gave to the guide, he took us to a hotel in Hurghada itself, to the Marlin Inn hotel.


And for a second it seemed that we were somewhere on the other side of the world, I immediately wanted to change clothes, it was very warm, there were people in the hotel, friendly staff, they received us very well and we spent the remaining 4 days wonderful, went on an excursion and enjoyed the sea! My advice is to buy tours only from trusted people with extensive experience, from people who are ready to answer for their words)).
By the way, the Golden Five Hotel is from the same opera of empty hotels, where good tours do not send tourists. agencies. Hope my review is helpful! ! )))
