The road to the hotel takes up to 40 minutes by bus. The hotel is part of the Madinat Makadi complex, which is guarded and where there is no one except for the attendants from the locals.
The solidity of the complex, cleanliness, greenery immediately stand out against the backdrop of desert landscapes with dirty roadsides, although the roads are better than ours.
They met us, led us to dinner, then gave us the keys. we lived in building 4.2nd floor, room 410 overlooking the garden. They gave us a Family room, although Superior was paid for, a gift from the hotel as a youth, there was also a congratulatory letter from the manager and a small set of fruits, not a basket.
The hotel is small but very cozy, clean and super beautiful, the territory is a small botanical garden. The pool is small compared to other hotels, but if the whole was heated it would be super, I like the smaller part is heated, approximately 50m2, the water in it is +30. But the sea was warm and we were on the beach all week, only in the evening we settled by the pool for half an hour, and even then not always, and German citizens settled there for the whole day. The contingent of 70% is foreigners, the majority are Germans, there are fewer "ours", which is good, there were no "cattle" and "outright alcoholics".
The beach is good, met all expectations, clean, comfortable, you could always find the sun, a large number of wicker umbrellas did not interfere. The sun loungers are comfortable, the fences help to escape from the wind. The sea is perfectly clean, the color cannot be conveyed, and the salinity is higher than in Black. Sunset is convenient, sand, there is a little small stone, but not everywhere, gradual depth, after 10-15 meters deep, then shallow (to the waist) behind the buoys and corals! The first time I dived, I was simply stunned by the beauty! Then I found out that at the end of the pontoon you can also dive and eat corals, I went there, the reef is just super. There I saw a stingray and a moray eel! There are a lot of different and beautiful fish, I photographed with a one-time Kodak ($ .18 at the hotel) (look for houses, probably cheaper). Near the pontoon there are boats for divers, but I have never seen any spots or stains on the water. So do not believe those who write this. The weather was sunny, but the wind, which made it uncomfortable to climb out of the water, took a towel with him to the pier.
I took a mask and a tube from home, so I don’t know the prices at the hotel and in stores, we didn’t need slippers, we didn’t buy them.
The food was good, tasty and varied, everything is clean and comfortable in the restaurant, but we ate by the pool, we liked it better there. Local alcohol is quite, I especially liked red wine, Sakkara beer is very decent, unless of course compared with well-known imported brands, they make a variety of cocktails (alcoholic and not).
During the day, ice cream is free Nestle, there is Pepsi, 7up, Merinda. Bar on the beach with all the assortment, thanks to the bartender Said for special cocktails for us!
