Rested with a friend in September in Egypt. I read a bunch of reviews beforehand and stopped at the Prima Life Makadi 5 * hotel . . In the morning upon arrival we were met at the airport and after a short trip we set foot on the hotel grounds. First impression: wow! What a beauty! Everything is buried in greenery: shrubs trimmed leaf to leaf, flowers, cacti of various shapes and sizes, palm trees. How much work is needed to create such fabulous oases in the desert! But the tension did not leave, as I read negative reviews and all the time I was waiting for a catch. We were seated quickly and there were 3 rooms to choose from. We chose a room with access to the terrace, there are rooms with access to the balcony. I looked closely to see if there were other people's hair on the towel, in the bathroom - no, I didn’t find it. Everything is clean, the towels are white, sterile, the room is with solid furniture. Everything is as it should be: two large beds, a wardrobe, a safe, a mirror, plasma, a mini-bar, a tea corner. The bathroom is bright, a bathroom, a shower, a hair dryer - everything worked, hygiene products were replenished constantly. On the terrace there is a table and two chairs. About food. It's impossible to stay hungry! In addition to the main restaurant, there are many restaurants with different cuisines, cafes, bars, wherever you go. You can swim in the pools, both indoor and outdoor. Slides, gym, tennis court - everything is for the joy of people. Evening disco with good music. Very active group of animators, cheerful and positive. The staff is helpful, polite, tips are not required, but we left a tip as a token of gratitude. Wonderful sandy beach. Live reef with many fish. We were on a long excursion to Luxor. Everything was taken from the local guide Mohamed Amon (+201027660085 viber-whatsapp
) is very cheap and he still makes good discounts. Had a very interesting tour. Departure early in the morning until night. In the evening, I recommend preparing a brake at the hotel so that you don’t buy snacks until lunch. A very large flow of information came from Mohamed. We saw the famous Karnak temple in the "city of the living", and huge statues of sphinxes, and the tombs of the pharaohs in the "valley of the dead". Touched the ancient world in the truest sense. We sailed on a boat on the Nile. In the restaurant we were fed a delicious lunch. Tired, but the trip was worth it.
If we had a rest in the summer, then probably they would not agree to such long trips because of the heat, but in September the weather is milder, there is no such heat. We did not find anything to complain about either in the hotel or on the tour. Have a great rest!
