Hello!!! ! We flew to Egypt with the tour operator Teztur family for 14 nights. Returned 21 June 2016. We had an all inclusive package. Experience as tourists 12 years - Turkey, Egypt, Maldives. So there is something to compare!
The overall impression of the hotel - I liked everything very much, even admired a lot))) The only and very fat minus of the hotel is the PIERCE !! ! He is in a disgusting state. At the beginning of 20 meters it was wooden (it was pleasing), and then there were rusty gratings, which were covered with the same plastic gratings in calm weather, which made it impossible to walk on. For more comfortable walking, I immediately put on fins)))) Only one of the four stairs to the sea is in working order!! ! And that one, in a terrible state, the steps at an angle, they had to be very carefully and carefully descended.
Now for the good stuff!!!!!
1. Check-in was successful at lunchtime. We were seated in comfortable leather chairs, brought soft drinks, and after 10 minutes we already had the keys to two double rooms. Having asked in advance for rooms nearby, we were given rooms not nearby))) After 15 minutes, the issue was resolved without additional payments and we were happy to check into rooms overlooking the pool on the first floor with a message through the terrace. Access to the sea - from the sea across the street without climbing stairs - it's very convenient on vacation!!!
Wifi is free in the hotel. At the reception, you need to take a username and password. Hotel Wi-Fi, of course, in terms of speed and connection with varying degrees of success. But I was on the beach and in the room. We bought internet at the new airport. The counter is located at the exit to the buses. 12gb 20$. We put a sim card into the modem and four have a fast net))
2. The interior of the room and the furniture are slightly shabby, but I think this is a problem for many hotels of this price category. In the room for comfort, everything is there - serviceable, but noisy air conditioning, a kettle, a tea and coffee and sugar set, every day there are two 1.5 liters in the room. bottles of drinking water, for a tip of $ 1 + sweets)))) they brought us more fanta and cola 0.4l each. As the cleaners said, this is a gift))))
The bathroom has a shower with a glass partition, which is very pleasing. And, of course, soap and shampoo accessories.
3. Room cleaning is good. I was satisfied with everything.
4. The territory of the hotel sloped down to the sea is very large, well-groomed and flourishing. A wide variety of trees and shrubs, from palms and palms, to acacias and magnolias!!! ! Rising to the main building and turning to the sea, you find yourself on the observation deck))) That's where the beauty and admiration!!!!!
There are many pools and they are beautifully shaped, one with sea water. Since the territory is sloping, the pools are at different levels. I am an architect by profession and the architect who designed this hotel and was engaged in landscaping, I give the highest rating - 10!!! ! )))
If you go up to the second floor in the main building, and then up the spiral staircase, you can go to the roof and take a picture of the amazingly beautiful panorama of the hotel and the sea. And if on the common corridor of rooms - you can admire the sunset over the desert. It's a thrill ; )
5. Beach - sand. Loads of loungers. But there is almost no sea in which I would like to swim near the shore !! ! Below the knee. This is not a minus of the hotel, it's nature. Every day ebb and flow. Bottom-dead coral. So if you want to walk, you need slippers !! ! which can be bought at the hotel or in Hurghada. You can lie on the shore, enjoying the coastal waves, to the right of the pier)) And there are almost always waves and wind on the territory of this hotel. Out of 14 days, there was only 2 complete calm. A couple of times they even closed the pier - they were not allowed to swim.
6. The coral reef is beautiful and lively - with a wall up to a depth of 30 meters. There are many small fish on the crest of the reef and just below, and large fish hang out in shallow water))) We saw stingrays, moray eels and about happiness !! ! Turtle!!! ! We are fans of the underwater world. Therefore, we swam a lot and for a long time, taking pictures on the phone. Buy masks, be sure to buy flippers and go. . . ))) The most beautiful thing in my opinion is opposite the diving houses, where I met a turtle; ) And we also went to the indescribably beautiful lagoon of the neighboring hotel. Sandy shore, crystal-clear emerald-colored water, the most beautiful coral in shallow water with a bunch of fish....I was delighted. From the diving center Sireniti walk 10-15 minutes. Of course, there is a danger that they will drive you away)))) But we were forgiven for the first time))) Go early at 9 o'clock; )
7. The food at the hotel is amazing!!! ! The chef is also 10!!! ! ))) Diverse and very tasty. For every taste - chicken, beef, lamb, fish (grill and negril). Lots of cut vegetables for every taste. Rice, pasta, potatoes and couscous, eggplant and zucchini. Tortillas straight from the oven, bread, buns, garlic-fried bruschettas and some mega-tasty big garlic chips. Soup puree. And sweet!!! ! Various mini-cakes and cakes)))) I told the figure for 14 days - Bye))))) For breakfast - they fry an omelet with fillings to your taste and scrambled eggs; ham, cheese, vegetables and yoghurts, cereals, a variety of buns and pies. Coffee machines in the restaurant and bar serve espresso, latte, cappuccino and hot chocolate. Tea. Drinks like yuppies, cola and fanta. Fruits - melon, grapefruits, oranges, dates; not every day apples, peaches and watermelon. As it ends, everything is always cut. And the most important thing!! ! In this hotel you can take food out of the restaurant!! ! So you can eat fruits on the seashore; ) Well done!! ! Take care of the health of vacationers!!!
8. The staff is very friendly and unobtrusive. Many try to speak Russian))) A smile and friendliness will save the world!! ! But the sellers of all kinds of entertainment and excursions are very annoying. But they can be politely dismissed)))
9. Excursions from Teztur were not taken. Expensive. You can find cheaper options if you want. We have already been to Cairo and Luxor. Yes, it is very hot there in the summer. Therefore, we visited evening Hurghada with a Russian girl Angelina, who lives in Hurghada and organizes excursions (if you are interested, I will write a phone number). The walk turned out to be very interesting. In two hours, we walked along the sides of the streets of the slums, where meat is chopped at the same time, aromatic coffee is prepared, which we tried)))) sawing and upholstering furniture, sewing curtains....Noise, din... We admired a very beautiful mosque with illumination , visited the fish market and walked along the richest promenade of Hurghada with cafes and mega yachts. And it cost us $30 + taxi.
Husband and child went scuba diving from Sirenity Diving Center. Twice we took a Safari on quadrics, also from Sirenity. Everyone is happy. The main thing is to bargain and smile!!! ! The price from the initial one may be three times less; )
We visited the water park of the neighboring Sirenity Fun City hotel for free. SUPER!! ! There is a bus to and from the water park.
