I warn everyone at once - I was on vacation abroad for the first time. Therefore, I will describe all my impressions, even those that are well known to tourists who have visited Egypt.
Probably people who are tempted to have a good rest will be quite critical of my words, but ...everything was just AWESOME! To say that I liked it very, very much is an understatement! Liked it crazy! Well, now everything is in order.
Hotel selection.
Initially, we planned to go to Turkey for a number of reasons. Having chosen a Turkish hotel on the Internet, I called the agency with more or less firm confidence to book a tour. But the manager of the travel agency approached the issue very professionally. She found out what I want to get from my vacation, where I was - what I saw, and advised me to think about a vacation in Egypt. The Serenity Hotel was proposed among a number of other hotels, but Kira (the name of the manager, Sunmile travel agency) assured us that we would really like it. And so it was!

Flight.
The tour operator for our trip was Turtesse. In Borispol, they boarded the plane on their own and flew off. If before the trip I had not read reviews on the Internet and had not seen enough pictures, upon arrival in Hurghada, I would, to put it mildly, begin to worry about where we ended up. The plane landed almost in the desert. The airport is a small building. Somehow it all looked undignified, or something. Although this does not affect the functionality of the airport in any way. Immediately in the airport building, a “Turtessian” ran up to the arrivals, told which queue to go to, what paper to fill out, etc. That is, you will practically not be able to get confused where to go and what to do in a foreign country. Behind the passport control desk, the next "Turtessian" catches you, who tells you on which tape to pick up your suitcase and where to go next. Another "Turtessian" puts you on the bus (with a conder, of course) and to the hotel.
On the way to the hotel, there is only desert, mountains and … power lines around. But their track is in the desert - where are our autobahns;!
Settlement.
We arrived at the hotel. Reception. After reading the reviews, we were very afraid of the rooms in the Sport Area. But we were given a good room with a view of the amphitheater for the evening show and the main pool at no additional cost on our part (on the advice of the travel agency manager (thanks to Kira), they didn’t put money in the passport  ). Sometimes evening shows of animators watched directly from their terrace! Yes, by the way, no one offered us an ultra.
Number.

The room turned out to be huge (46 sq. m. , declared on the hotel website - not a lie), the furniture is comfortable, the beds are huge, everything works, clean and nice. The only thing that is objectively worth noting is that one of the previous tourists slightly spilled coffee on the tulle; the tulle was stretched, of course, but the trace remained. To be honest, it didn't affect our holiday at all.
Sea.
This is something simply wonderful - dark turquoise, warm, affectionate, rich ...You could luxuriate in it from morning to night (or rather, until sunset), you won’t get bored! The fish are awesome - all kinds of colors and their combinations, different in size, shape and character. You can lie on the water in a mask and watch them for hours!
Experienced people say that the reef is notable in this hotel, you don’t even need to go on excursions - everything is at hand!
Entry into the sea ONLY from the pontoon. Moreover, for these purposes, even special shoes are not needed - those who do not have it can not spend money. But to wander ankle-deep in water, looking at dead corals with their numerous inhabitants, you will have to wear special uniforms - rubber slippers (the price in hotel shops is an average of $ 13 per pair).
Then you can watch flocks of small brightly green fish that frolic in the shallows, small sea urchins that literally stick the whole bottom, other living creatures, and also just sit / lie down on a plastic chair in very warm water, which is practiced by many tourists.
There is always a lifeguard on the pontoon. What pleasantly surprised - he really watches the swimmers! Irresponsible individuals who want to enter the sea through corals, and not through a pontoon, are given a warning signal in the form of a whistle and a hand sign, which shows where the offender should go (meaning back to the beach).
Beach.
The beach is excellent, sandy. There were ALWAYS enough sunbeds on the beach! The beach is being cleaned, the sand is being leveled, sunbeds are being arranged, etc. It was a shame for the vacationers who manage to litter there!

All sun loungers are under umbrellas, on the tables of which there are garbage pots; besides, everywhere on the beach there are jugs-garbage bins. To throw away a cigarette butt or other garbage, you need to make one small movement of your hand towards the pot! But no, it's hard  You have to throw trash on the floor! Probably, so that beach workers do not remain without work, so that they have something to clean ...
Oscar.
The local pet, the Oscar camel (in the local dialect, Kamel  ) deserves special attention. This cute creature in a straw hat and a diaper in the form of a tied garbage bag is brought to the beach every day to the delight of vacationers. For a certain bribe on a ship of the desert, you can ride along the beach; photo on the background of a camel - free of charge; feeding a camel with food brought from the canteen is welcome.
Once fed - and the next day they will recognize you, greet you and ask what delicious food they brought to the stove today.
Territory.
The territory is large, green and beautiful. There are many different trees, shrubs, flowers that appeared and grow here thanks to the efforts of Egyptian workers. To create a piece of such magnificence in the desert is a work that you never get tired of admiring!
Pools.
There are many pools - both fresh water and salt water. In all for a short vacation time and do not outbid; . The pool near the main bar is very popular, sunbeds are almost always occupied there. It also hosts water aerobics and water polo.
Nutrition.
In general, food is two meals a day, three meals a day, etc. There is food EVERY MINUTE! That is, you can eat anytime, anywhere! And very tasty! In the main restaurant "Mona Lisa" you are fed breakfast, lunch and dinner on a buffet basis.
In addition, you can have lunch in a restaurant by the sea, if you don’t want to go through the heat through the entire main territory of the hotel from the beach to Mona Lisa (the menu is about the same, although the choice of dishes is slightly less than the main restaurant). But in a restaurant by the sea they cook delicious pizza, in Mona Lisa - 3-4 types of meat / fish on the grill; have to choose. In the main pool bar, you can enjoy snacks in the form of french fries, pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, vegetables, etc. Ice cream in the afternoon. Drinks are everywhere - from the beach bar to the main restaurant.

They cook very tasty! Especially the sweet table! Naturally, you will not find pork dishes, but this is the last thing you want there. Lots of vegetables, salads, side dishes, meat dishes. Rice with cinnamon (I thought) amazing! Every day for lunch and dinner, meat, chicken, fish, kebab on the grill are prepared near the main restaurant. Very worthy! Fridays are Oriental Cuisine Day.
Tables in the restaurant and on the terrace are served with oriental flavor, they bake a whole lamb, cook shawarma and many other goodies, the names of which, unfortunately, I don’t know; . During dinner, oriental music is played live on the street. The waiters are dressed in oriental style. Gorgeous evening!
On the all-inclusive system, you can visit the Oriental and Italian restaurants once free of charge. Fish restaurant - for the money. We did not go to it, because we ate fish both in the main and in the oriental restaurant. More than enough. I liked the oriental restaurant, although similar dishes were served in the main restaurant. Reviews about the Italian restaurant were confirmed - the portions there are quite small. No wonder people fled to finish their meals at Mona Lisa!
I see that many tourists complain that they give little fruit. I don’t know, during our six days at the hotel we ate dates, melons, watermelons, peaches, apples, and bananas.
Animation.
They say that the animation in this hotel is not very good. I don't know, there is nothing to compare with. During the day, animators invite you to various games, gymnastics, etc. In the evenings, evening shows are held in the amphitheater for 40-50 minutes. There were interesting scenes, there were not so much. On Friday evenings, visiting artists perform, whose repertoire includes oriental dances. They also put on a cobra show. We didn't go to it. Judging by the reviews in vain; . Every evening in the main bar there was great live music - a middle-aged man sang famous romantic ballads. He sang well, sincerely!
Service.
Service is good. Especially if the staff smile and treat like human beings. They always left a dollar in the room - as a gift they received figurines from the bedspreads on the beds. With towels, no one fantasized;.
Almost everyone knows Russian. English is absolutely everything. You can explain in a simple way. Everyone greets you, smiles, jokes, very friendly. Well done!

I don’t even know how to behave so that they treat you badly (as you read in some reviews)!
The restaurants serve well, they try to please you. The only problem is that you get distracted, and your plate of food can be taken away, regarding your distraction as something that you have already eaten.
Way home.
It turns out that the delights and impressions of our holiday did not end from the moment we left the hotel! There is also something to remember about the way back home! Respect to the pilot who took us back! He gave us a whole air tour! First, he told the route - they say we will fly over Cairo, the Mediterranean Sea, Cyprus, Turkey, etc. We fly. We see through the porthole - we are flying over a city. The pilot tells us - we are flying over Cairo. And then the plane rolls sharply on one wing. As if it turns one side down so that passengers on the right can better see the city. The people are worried.
A minute later, a roll on the second wing - so that the passengers on the left would look at Cairo from the air! Such a good pilot! He showed us all the significant places of the route in this way - how the African continent grows into the Mediterranean Sea, how this sea washes the shores of Cyprus and Turkey. Beauty!!!

Here, in a nutshell, are my impressions of a holiday in Egypt, at the Serenity Hotel. Fairy tale. Now I am writing, I remember, and I can’t believe that a month ago I swam in the Red Sea and walked along the paths of an oasis in the desert .. .
