Serenity Makadi Heights
Traveled with my husband and 6 year old son. I will say right away that the hotel has both big pluses and minuses.
And so I LIKE:
- a large, green, very beautiful area with lawns ON WHICH YOU CAN WALK, RUN FOR CHILDREN, LIE NEAR THE POOL;
- quite good food, delicious beef, fish, vegetables and fruits are always fresh, pizza, pastries, grilled meat, chicken...;
- large spacious rooms;
- a restaurant on the beach - it is always a pleasure to have breakfast and lunch with a beautiful view of the sea;
- I really liked the iron gazebos that ride on wheels - you sit, push off with your feet and swing easily, super! ;
- there is a swimming pool with sea water! even 2 pools ...With a gentle entry into them - especially cool for children! Yes, and I myself appreciated the presence of such a pool - after it, I didn’t want to swim in the pool with bleach at all ...;
- the hotel has a nice sandy beach, a paradise for children to build castles and just run...
but after the depth "knee-deep" entry only in special. shoes, since there is a great danger of stepping on hedgehogs, we saw a huge number of them in the crevices when the tide was out;
- good coral reef;

What I DID NOT LIKE:
- at the meeting with the guide the next morning, they did not give a printout of the hotel. . they just told in words ...but of course they gave a printout of the excursions ...;
- poor cleaning of the room - by the fact that the room was being cleaned it was visible only by the made bed and changed towels;
- hotel employees prefer foreigners - they try to put Russians in bad rooms, they don't pay much attention in the restaurant;
- the tables in the restaurant are set beautifully only for the first time, if then they take a table after someone, then no one removes the crumbs, they just bring new appliances at your request;
- no one washes the glass tables in iron gazebos on wheels and they are sticky and greasy ...
it generally killed - such a buzz from the gazebos themselves, from their design and such a bummer with dirty tables ...and if someone decided to have lunch there and left the dishes there, then other people swing with someone else's dirty dishes. . no one is in a hurry to clean it ...although the main restaurant is 10 meters away ...in general, the hotel staff is somehow too lazy and imposing ...;
- I didn’t like a large number of people, it somehow bothered me personally, I wanted silence. . on the beach the sunbeds are very close to each other.

- very slippery entrance from pantone - the ladder is very thin and slippery;
- the Makadi Bay area itself is considered windy ...for a week of 4 days there was a strong wind ...very strong ...the sea was stormy and it was impossible to swim ...of course, the beauty of the sea in a storm is indescribable, but I wanted to SWIM! ! !
- and one more thing...when calm days come and the temperature is over 30 degrees, "stagnant air" begins and there is simply nothing to breathe on the territory of the hotel...
add the smell of fried food and the smell of water when watering lawns ...I don’t know what is better - to have wind or not;
- prices in shops on site are much higher than at the airport...;
- the restaurant on the beach has a much smaller choice of food. . a couple of times there was not even bread ...no bread, no cakes ...
- in the main restaurant there are constantly interruptions with dishes - either there are no cups, then there are no spoons, then there are no plates at all ...probably they simply don’t have time to wash ...;
- there is no point in going to a la carte restaurants - they were in Italian, they didn’t even sign up for Arabic ...if you’re wondering why, I’ll answer later ...;
- few people know where to find the only bar in the hotel that pours imported alcoholic drinks and real juices ...for ultra-ol ...there are very few people there ...even our guide did not know where this Royal was located. If anyone is interested, I'll tell you the secret : )
