So, the negative reviews about the hotel are either insanely exaggerated, or the hotel staff took into account the negative aspects noted by tourists. I started reading reviews before the trip after I booked a ticket. Despite the fact that I perfectly understood that reviews must be taken into account with a huge discount on the human factor, I fell into insane horror - I have never read such a nightmare. Due to the fact that I was traveling on an all-inclusive system, realizing from the reviews all the horror of settling in a sports zone, I began to study the mechanism of the possibility of changing at least the type of food and placing on "ultra". The surcharge was too high and I went to this all-inclusive hotel with a heaviness in my soul, provoked by negative reviews from tourists. Much to my surprise, I instantly solved the problem of replacing "everything" with "ultra everything" for $ 200 at the reception without any problems on the spot. I was given an absolutely gorgeous room with a huge terrace and expansive sea views. The room had a good TV, kettle, tea, coffee, hair dryer, bathrobe and slippers. it should be noted that this hotel is still worth going to the "ultra" system. The sports area is far away, both from the sea and from the main restaurant - according to managers, "outside the official territory of the hotel"; there is a scorched asphalt road between the sports zone and the "official" territory. If you are traveling on a non-ultra system, I recommend insisting that the travel agent not include the phrase "Sport Area" in the ticket - then there is a chance that you will be settled in the "official" territory (this was explained to me by the hotel manager). Having solved the main problem with accommodation, I began to "prepare" for the next "problems of the hotel". However, besides the obvious conglomeration of inconveniences for those who live in the sports area (the problem, as indicated above, is solvable), I have not noticed any significant shortcomings in this hotel (there is something to compare with). I was shocked by the attentiveness of the staff, if not to say the care for the guests of the hotel. Everyone smiled, any problem was instantly solved. Our shower began to leak in our room - this problem was fixed faster than we had time to tell the reception about it; we were found and warned that there was plastic in the bathroom. The room was well cleaned daily - a tip was not a pity for such high-quality cleaning. The bathroom did not have the usual 5 * shampoos and all sorts of bells and whistles, but two large bottles of soap were filled strictly. By the way, upon check-in there was a large plate with fresh and tasty fruits. It must be said that even according to the "ultra" system, water in the mini-bar is available only on the first day - in the future, it must be collected in coolers, which are at every step; despite previous reviews, the water in the coolers is good and there were no questions about it - in short, there are no problems with water in the hotel. The hotel has several good clean pools - I noticed dirtyness in only one pool with sea water. The main pool is very good, but you need to take places from it early in the morning; I watched a cool picture - I came to borrow sunbeds at 7 am and I see how the employees of the "pool area" themselves occupy all (almost absolutely all! ) sunbeds; later I saw how they "sell" them to hotel guests for $ 1. Of course, it’s outrageous, but, firstly, knowing that we occupy the sunbeds early in the morning, the “beach workers” did not touch our sunbeds, even if we were late, and, secondly, it was a real salvation for those living in the sports area who crawled to the beach by 9-10 o'clock, and at the same time easily solved the issue with good places. The territory of the hotel is large and very beautiful - at the same time, from any point of the "official" territory, it is close both to the sea and to any pool. We sunbathed by the pool and went swimming in the sea. With the sea, of course, there are questions. . . Constant storm, which is the result of the specifics of the location of the hotel. On the one hand, constant winds create salvation from the heat and the comfort of staying in Egypt in the summer, and, on the other hand, it is not so easy to swim in the sea. At the same time, I note that I did not notice any problem with entering the sea from the pontoon - it is quite convenient and there is no overload with people. It is better to change towels in the morning - in the evening it sometimes becomes impossible. As for the food - in my opinion, everything is fine. In the end, if you can't find what to eat in the main restaurant "Mona Lisa", I recommend signing up and going to an Italian restaurant (although the daily dinner in the Italian and Oriental restaurants is available only on the "ultra" system; for blue bracelets - only one visit). We really liked the Italian restaurant - great real pizza, better wine than in the main restaurant, and the rest is also better. In short, everything is more civilized. By the way, there is no difference between yellow and blue bracelets (just "all inclusive") for alcohol! You will not find foreign alcohol here, but I do not consider this a significant problem. Wine, whiskey, beer in the hotel are quite normal. Of the fruits, it was sometimes problematic to find a watermelon - it was offered mainly on the beach, and not in the main restaurant. But there were always fresh tasty dates. There are indeed problems with napkins and plates, but it would not have occurred to me to note this aspect if this minor problem had not been scaled up in previous reviews. . Another very important point is that air conditioners work insanely in restaurants and the administrative building (really insanely! ), so be careful - many get sick. While you deal with the number and run back and forth (sometimes they offer to choose the number yourself - go around several rooms and stop at something; it's over, if there are free rooms), you must follow basic precautions against sore throat and otitis media. There is also a good point in the framework of the noted negative - a well-organized medical service in the hotel itself. If anything - call the reception to the operator of the insurance company and go to the "clinic" (works from 10 am to 10 pm without lunch). In the "clinic" a doctor, a doctor's assistant and a nurse - according to your insurance, they will give you good European medicines, if necessary, they will inject some modern antibiotic (after which people quickly recover from a sore throat - this is from their own example), and if they are poisoned, they will put a dropper and, again, they will give good medicines for free. I would recommend contacting them for any small health problem - they will give you really good medicines that you will spend big money on if you buy them yourself at the pharmacy. Oh, and also about the courtesy of the staff - every couple of days the manager responsible for our building at the hotel came to us and asked if we had any problems and complaints. Like this. . . There is a clear feeling that the hotel staff is doing everything possible to make people come back to them. I don't remember, for example, in the Turkish "Sealight" I was approached in a restaurant or on the beach and politely asked if I needed to bring something. Any problem at the reception is solved instantly - for example: I complained about the waiter who did not bring me coffee, and the next day, from a Christian position, I regretted it when I saw how he does the work of a loader (thank God, temporarily, but still - still. . . ). In short, the responsiveness of the management and staff was truly amazing. I got the impression that Russian-speaking managers, perhaps, read the reviews and do everything to raise the service in problem areas. By the way, the hotel is quite youthful: frequent "foamy" discos, evening shows (all sorts of "Miss" and "Mr" hotel) and, in fact, quite adequate animation. Sports animators are superbly trained and do yoga, aerobics, and dancing well. I do not advise you to take a taxi to the city - it's better to take the hotel's bus for $ 8. You can buy something at the hotel - for example, I bargained for oils for $ 10 (one of the 5 was even given to me for $ 5) - this is the price of Hurghada. Oh yes, the hotel also has a very impressive bar with live music by the sea - every day a new performer or guitarist performs there; very pleasant place. In short, the hotel left a very pleasant impression - I do not rule out that I will go there again. I apologize for the confusion - I write on the go, there is no time for systematization.
