Hello to all travelers! The other day I returned from the Serenity Makadi Hotel and I want to tell the true truth about this hotel. I rested with my fiancé from July 5 to July 14.2010. The wardrobe in the room did not work, it flew off the runners, the linen was dirty, the lamps did not work. They asked to sort out the problems and left for lunch. Upon returning to the room, all the shortcomings, as they were, remained!! ! At the reception they asked for a different number for an extra charge, but we were offered to officially buy a ticket to the main building - $ 8 a day per person (i. e. $ 160 for two), but we refused and demanded a change of room. They offered another room also in Sport Aria - we looked at it, we liked it - on the 1st floor, with a terrace, everything is in order, linen, of course, not the first freshness - but we put up with it and moved.
And now, directly, I turn to the description of the hotel itself. The territory is large, beautiful, all green, and this is what bribed me when choosing a hotel. There are many pools, everyone will find something to their liking. Of the declared bars, only 3 are working - this is the Lobby bar, a bar on the beach and by the main pool. Drinks for the Russian food system All inclusive are poured into plastic cups, and for Europeans, too, Al, but already in large glass ones. It is not clear why such an attitude towards Russians?????????!!!!!!!!!!
Animation is rather weak for such a hotel, in the morning water polo, gymnastics and aqua aerobics. Same thing after lunch. And in the evening the program delivered was not in Russian. Boring!
As for the restaurants, in the main (Mona Lisa) there was always a lack of clean glasses and plates, you had to wait for some time until they were washed. The water dispenser (Cola, Sprite, Fanta) also didn't work from time to time, we had to drink warm bottled water.
The food is monotonous, tired already on the 4th day. At breakfast, I myself personally observed the picture of how a fly landed on a plate of yogurt on the buffet - the waiter, passing by, also noticed it, took a spoon, tugged at the fly and......... put it back, but so that the fly was not visible, i. e. deep into the plate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! It was something !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! Since then, I didn’t really want to eat !!!!!!!!! ! You can't go wrong if you take your pills with you. Just talking with compatriots, it turned out that everyone, without exception, resorted to the help of pills.
Hotel service is unobtrusive. Throughout the rest, we came to the conclusion that it is not necessary to leave a tip, they start to clean up worse. The concept of time is also vague - if they say that they will come to fix the breakdown at 19h - wait for the master not earlier than 21h - we had this when the safe broke. And they waited for the iron for 2 days in general, and only after 3 reminders, we waited !! ! Linen has not been changed in 10 days!
The towels that are issued on the cards are just awful - they are all dirty, stained, well, if without holes !! ! But the Europeans are clean, white, like new !!!!
If we talk about the sea and the beach, there were always enough places, you don’t have to run at dawn and borrow sunbeds for yourself (but about the sunbeds by the pools, hurry up, at 8 o’clock they are already all taken). The beach is large and relatively clean. Entrance to the sea through a pontoon, you need special shoes. For those who swim badly, there is nothing to do there - the current is strong - it carries away.
In conclusion, all of the above, I would like to note. The hotel does not live up to its 5 stars. Boring. the only significant plus is the territory that captivates everyone !!!! ! And so..... Not worth it !!!!!
