We chose Serenity Makadi because my husband and I wanted a vacation at the best level, so that nothing overshadowed it, so what we got:
Tour operator Mostrevel Tui - an excellent team of Russian-speaking guides - the highest rating. Not intrusive, friendly. It all started at the front desk upon check-in. I told the registrar - "sorry", to which in response he looked at me so that I felt like the last nonentity and turned away without saying a word! I swallowed but the sediment remained. Then we were settled in the room: the location is convenient, not far from the main building. We had a view from the window of the sea along with the construction site.

I want to note right away that my husband shoved dollars to everyone and everywhere, but this, apart from the cleaner of the room, was taken for granted and no result.
There is a hair dryer in the room, yes... it even works if you're lucky, it's not built-in as I'm used to in good hotels, and the local production "on snot" blows barely cold air. In the shower room you will not find a single detergent and accessories. I found out, so in the whole hotel. There is only poor quality soap in the dispenser. There is no shelf where you can and should put your shampoo, gel, etc. If anyone travels to this hotel with children, be careful as soon as you open the door to the shower room immediately on the right edge of the glass, once I slipped (stepping on a towel) and hurt myself badly.
The main vacationers in the hotel are Germans and Russians, less Chinese, French. Too many old people of any nationality.
As for the food, the food is amazing as always. There are very few fruits and only for dinner, breakfast and lunch, fruits are not given (((ice cream is distributed only at 16-00 at one pool by an Arab, where all the vacationers run and then whoever had time, he ate. Juices from packages are given only in one bar from 21-00, the rest all juices are diluted UPI. From the main food, one remark - we often encountered sour food. Very unpleasant!
The beach is very beautiful. But, as soon as you come across the fact that the umbrellas are huge and do not fold, and, accordingly, there will be a constant shade everywhere, both on the beach and at all pools. The beach is not on a flat surface, but on a strong slope, which makes it not only not convenient to sunbathe, but also to lie in principle (for example, when the ass is much higher than the head : ) ) Since October is not a very hot time in Egypt, then we and all neighbors had to move sunbeds all over the beach all day just to warm up. In addition, when the operators advised us this hotel as a new one, I did not expect that the purchases for the new hotel would be old rusty sunbeds. Rusted, because they are not light plastic, but metal - try to lift them.

It's not enough to walk to the beach. Nearby you can’t buy anything, the tour operator told us that as soon as we leave the hotel, there are immediately a sea of ​ ​ tents. Rave. There is nothing. 30 minutes drive to Hurghada. and it costs 30 bucks for a taxi or 18 bucks per person on a bus. On the bus, you will be accompanied by Arabs - hotel workers. Price round trip. Who said that it is cheaper in Hurghada than in Sharm - a narrow-minded person. The prices are the same. The hotel prices are insane. My husband and I went to the Spa, had a massage, and I underwent the Cleopatra procedure. In Moscow, the same thing, just a little more expensive, they do much better! Excursions ordered from Mostrevel - everything was fine.
The hotel insolent boors. They hate Russians, they all have it written on their foreheads, once again there is no desire to come up to ask something. Let me tell you one incident at the register. My husband and I returned from Luxor and the next day we had to leave in the morning for diving. We ran out of money on the mobile phone, we don’t know how to put it in, the hotel refused to help my husband, because he bought a SIM card not from them, but in Hurghada (! ) In this regard, we approach the registrar and ask how we can contact the guide. He replies that now the phone will be free, on which the second employee is talking and he will call. The employee talks for a very long time, and the one with whom we talked about us forgets and goes to the second phone and starts calling him! Then I could not stand it and raised a scandal... It's almost ten in the evening, it's not comme il faut to call the guide in the middle of the night, besides, we are only from the road and very hungry and tired; I talk about this all at the reception, albeit in a raised voice, to which he answers me that no one will call anywhere. To say that I was furious is to say nothing... I demanded a complaint book, they didn’t give me anything, we called the manager and after 20 minutes he came, because he was eating and could not come right away. Of course, the apologies were accepted, but I will never forgive them for such a holiday.
Restaurants: one restaurant in the main building - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Restaurant near the beach "Aladdin" - lunch (a lot of people, very little food). In Italian and Japanese, you need to sign up for dinner. Were in Italian, after it we went to the usual one and ate. After Italian, they didn’t even poke their nose into Japanese. The waiters are half polite, half very tired rude.
Animation - Russian 17-year-old teenagers led by a choreographer and an Arab. Of all the animation, only the Arab tries and the choreographer dances beautifully. The rest smoke weed and laugh themselves. The performances are shameful, just ashamed of ours. With children, I would not go there for any money. I saw how children are treated in good hotels. In Serenity, an animator is simply located next to the children on the territory of the amphitheater and offers to run around the stage and dance.
