We chose the hotel based on reviews on the Internet (this is already the sixth trip to Egypt), but the first one with a child (1 year and 2 months old), it’s kind of good for families with small children, but in fact everything turned out to be much worse : (
Firstly, there are very few servants both in canteens (their "restaurants" cannot be called otherwise) and on the beaches, once every two or three hours someone will quickly run and take away what they saw. There was never anyone at the pool bars at all, come and take their own swill like UPI and there was water from the cooler (with the smell and taste of something), forget about beer, only at the main bar it could be taken and only in plastic cups in 0.2 liters. (total crap)!
Secondly, the impudence of the waiters and bartenders - to my request to pour 6 beers in the evening, since they do not bring them themselves (taking into account that we had food all day + additional free service), I was told - where are your six people (we were standing together ), I reduce the number to four, so he starts babbling that there are no glasses and still pours only three small glasses (0.33 l), and then the rest of the rest in line (the glass glasses are over) pours alcohol and even beer into DISPOSABLE plastic cups (for 5 * it's just nonsense). As for cocktails, I advise you to take them (of course, if you dare to go there) only at the Royal Bar, in other places we were poured alcohol NOT through dispensers (as it should be done everywhere), but through the fingers of bartenders and also in disposable cups.

Thirdly, there is almost nothing to eat, and if there is one and the same thing (rice, potatoes, fish, chicken, and their nasty salads, etc. ), the taste of the food does not even pull on a 4 * hotel. Well, there are very few fruits, one can only dream of oriental sweets - only biscuits (although there were oriental ones once a week, but they literally lasted for half an hour, and then biscuits). Ice cream (as in a concentration camp rations) was given out one teaspoon in a waffle cup and a maximum of two per person, and this after standing in a huge queue (the hotel is big and there are a lot of people and there is only one "point of issue"). Children had to eat everything the same (we fed with our own brought food). In short, we ate rice and chicken for a long time : )
Fourth, the hotel is really old and in need of urgent repair - as it is (in their language) five-star (I'll post a couple of photos later). Greenery (palm trees and bushes) is not enough and they look shabby, and in some places the grass was completely scorched. The sunbeds are just rusty and barely hold on, the concrete on some pools broke out and lay in pieces while we were there (no one cares there), and the baiting of insects occurs with POISONS right in the evening and in the presence of vacationers, the stench is not pleasant.
Bottom line: on the third day of our stay in this "FIVE-STAR" hotel, we asked our tour operator (turtess) to move us to another hotel (we went for two weeks). After 3 days, we moved to 4 * (Palm Beach, we were there before), where all of the above was absent and enjoyed resting further.
