We rested in Serenity from October 8 to October 18.2011. Most of the reviews can be called objective, but of course, it all depends on your mood. Positive thinking makes the difference.
ACCOMMODATION: Due to a flight delay, we arrived at 12 midnight. They settled us quickly in the Sport Area. The room was dirty, to be sure. We were horrified. At night, they did not begin to sort things out. The next morning we went to reception. We were offered either to pay extra $8 per person per room in the main building, or to clean this room. We agreed to stay in the Sport Area, cleaned it up, changed the curtains. In the evening there was a plate of fruit in the room as an apology. But I advise you to initially negotiate the number with the travel agency. Don't take the Sport Area. I would not go for such a feat a second time. Still, it's a definite turn off. This spoiled the mood, but we decided not to pay attention and enjoy the sea, for which, in fact, we came.
FOOD: There was enough food, really little fruit. But in general there is nothing to complain about. There was always plenty to choose from, everything was fresh and tasty.
ANIMATION: This, of course, is a separate issue. Animation sucks. The Egyptian boys still at least tried to somehow smile and be kind, and the international girls-animators reminded me of oysters - forever inert and with sour faces. The disco is not so hot, it feels like the DJ had only 10 songs and he played them in a circle 3 times each (but if you drink beforehand, it's not really embarrassing)))
STAFF: Dudes at the reception are snickering, it's hard to talk to them. And the wait staff is kind. I never noticed any rudeness from them.
TERRITORY: Awesome, very well maintained and green. I did not see any flies, wasps, mosquitoes.
BEACH: Normal, sunbeds, though broken. But empty seats could be found at any time. Corals are beautiful - for those who like to swim with a mask.
