Hotel
the rooms are all standard, quite for Egypt. on the upper floors - a domed 5-meter ceiling. Settled with a good view of the pool and the sea.
Colleagues somehow brought fruit to their room, ants ran in the morning, so I recommend being careful.
The rooms are opened / closed with a card, and there is one inconvenience: when there is no one in the room, it is de-energized, so I had difficulty recharging the batteries for the camera, I did not do this beforehand.
There is a safe in every room which is very convenient. and in general, in terms of the safety of things, we all have everything in perfect order, both at the hotel and during excursions. We even had one lady on the bus drop a gold chain and did not notice it, but when she returned to the bus, it was lying in her place, the driver found it and returned it. such a service!
nutrition

The cuisine is a little specific, but there is a sufficient variety of dishes, you can always find something to your liking. The staff is very correct and friendly.
we got on catholic christmas, our package had an extra charge for christmas dinner, but it was worth it! luxuriously decorated hall, sumptuous dishes. it was very sad that we couldn’t even try everything... amazing!
entertainment
there were a lot of us, and I noticed the booth with the schedule of animators the day before departure.
"water aerobics" - certainly not aerobics at all, but it was dynamic and fun.
the girls once went to a belly dance class
on the beach, the guys were playing some kind of game with balls, similar to the one that the boys in the yards play with tokens.

evening program
the first two evenings, live saxophone music played, very beautiful, pleasant melodies.
the musician seems to be our compatriot, because. some melodies were from our films (domestic composers)

Christmas was very modest, in my opinion
summary: entertainment is the weakest side of the service.
Tours.
I really enjoyed the motorcycle safari. "frightened" that everyone was trudging in a column. Yes, a column, but certainly not weaving! on the contrary, the escorts themselves rush through the desert like crazy and urge the slow! in our group there was an incident: one girl turned over, this motorbike fell on her. she was lucky, "got off" with a scratched leg and, apparently, a concussion. attention: honey. She didn't get help! At first, of course, they were frightened, but when they saw that they were conscious, their arms and legs were intact, they did not even treat the wound. so be prepared to take care of yourself.
The excursion to Luxor did not impress me personally, but some of my colleagues squealed with delight, were very pleased
"Submarine": two of us went, were slightly disappointed, in their words, the meager underwater world.
Boat trip: nice to be honest, but nothing special.

we swam in the open sea, near the reefs. so there are reefs near the hotel too. on our day the weather was windy, there were waves, although not on the Black Sea, that's all the difference. I don’t remember what our walk was called, but the island, on which we were brought for 4 minutes, seems to be nothing special, we have it even better on the Volga. Just a nice boat trip. Dolphins did not come across to us, but they did not promise us. Lunch was hearty but modest.
hurghada
we wanted to go to Hurghada on the last day (we took all the excursions from our tour operator). according to the program, it was indicated that the return to the hotel at 18:30, we had a flight at night. however, we accidentally found out that another group had returned from the same tour at 10pm! the fact is that the guides are interested in shopping, and if at least one is thinking "buy or not buy", everyone else is waiting! .
in short, this tour did not take place, we were returned 50% of the cost. money is small, but it was enough to extend the number.
and we visited Hurghada, because. our plane was delayed, we can be said to be "cheated" taken out of the hotel. the fact is that according to the rules we were supposed to be left in our hotel. we learned in advance that in our hometown a flight delay of 8 hours was announced. but we were told "it's okay, let's go. " drove away from the hotel, and only then informed about the delay!
"Plus" one - we really were only until the morning in that bedbug, which someone misunderstood called the hotel, and at 7 in the morning we left for the airport.
we learned the contrasts of Egypt on ourselves, so to speak. . . : )
SEA
The most important question for me! everyone scared - in winter the winds are cold, the sea is cold, you won’t be able to swim! . .
BATHED IN THE SEA EVERY DAY! 30-40 minutes did not climb out of the water.
Be sure to take a mask and snorkel, preferably a snorkel with a valve. I myself have never swum with a snorkel / mask before, nothing complicated, but you can see all the many different fish. great!
I live in Samara, and so the weather on our holiday in Egypt was wonderful, like ours in May - warm and not hot. the wind was moderate in my imagination, and for a couple of days it was generally harmless
the shops
I must say right away that on the way back we hung out in Duty Free

Souvenirs and things there are almost the same and at similar prices as in the hotel. some a little cheaper, some a little more expensive.
in hotel shops somewhere we bargained, somewhere we were not met. but, to be honest, I watched how the Russians bargained, and it became unpleasant for me: the impression is that people are convinced that the price was raised 10 times especially for them, and it is their sacred duty to run into to demand just such a discount - 10, otherwise - a sharp reversal back to the exit and add something dissonant. disgusting scene.
I almost forgot - it was a pleasant surprise that ANYONE takes money from us - dollars, pounds (Egyptian) and even rubles !! ! True, not everyone takes rubles, but there are those who take.
when you change money from dollars to pounds, the ATM DOES NOT give change, rounds in its favor, and removes the commission. as it turned out, it was possible not to take pounds at all.
I highly recommend taking a first aid kit with you, for the gastrointestinal tract, for "first aid" and beyond - what else will you need.
one lady had an exacerbation of a chronic disease, and the medicine that we have costs 50 rubles (I don’t remember exactly), she bought from them in a pharmacy for 800 !!!
