If you characterize the hotel in one phrase, then this is an excellent value for money.
We are grateful to the hotel team for a wonderful holiday and a wonderful New Year's holiday. Among the advantages of this hotel I can note:
- very cozy, well-groomed and well-thought-out territory of the hotel, while compact;
- a large coastline and just a huge beach area with soft sand, there were definitely enough sunbeds and umbrellas for everyone;

- food - beyond praise. It's not just good, it's very good. The variety of food is huge: the standard breakfast is complemented by a pasta station, several types of meat and a full range of sweets that are usually only found at dinners; fruit at least 5 types, all the time fresh and changing. Brewed coffee - for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus a coffee machine with a selection of drinks in stock. Also, for breakfast from 7-30 to 11-30, an Italian restaurant is additionally open; there breakfast is more modest and on the open terrace, but it lasts 4 hours. For lunch and dinner, there is a very large selection of dishes: vegetables, cold appetizers in more than a dozen variations, several types of each of the side dishes - various pastas, different types of rice, vegetable hot side dishes, several options for each type of meat and a couple of types of fish, often there were squid and crabs. There are practically no queues for food at any time, food is fully available at least 15 minutes before the end of lunch or dinner, despite the fact that during the New Year period the hotel seemed to be 100% occupied. For 10 days of rest, food was not pall - themed dinners of different cuisines of the world alternate every two weeks, their schedule hangs at the entrance to the restaurant. From a la cart I recommend a Chinese restaurant - atmospheric and tasty, the menu has seafood;
- service - for Egypt - a very high level. The restaurant was always politely greeted, asked how many people needed a table and always offered a clean and reserved table and immediately brought drinks at will, without additional requests and tips. In the rooms, the cleaning is quite high quality, the floor was washed, the dust was wiped, the windows were without traces of the hands of previous guests and the bathroom was always clean. The reception and other services never refused to help, everything was very polite and prompt. Guest relation is also very hospitable));
- in the room there is a tea set (a large normal kettle, cups, spoons, glasses, tea and instant coffee); any utensils (plates, knives) can be taken if necessary in the restaurant;
- there is a pool heated in winter - not very big, but still.
Of course, no one is perfect, there were small - I won’t say cons - but moments that need to be improved:
- Furnishings in the rooms - furniture and repairs need to be updated. Everything worked in our room. I note that the TV was new (although there was no point in using it, there were no our channels). The tiles on the floor, although updated, are already chipped and poorly laid, the floor is very cold (in winter this is a minus). The door of the once luxurious wooden cabinet stuck, but opened)) by the way, the cabinet was clean from the inside. Plumbing (shower, faucets) is very simple, but still serviceable. In the shower, water stagnated on the stone floor, but the cleaner dried it out daily and washed everything out. We saw that the rooms are being renovated in stages (the 2nd building was partially under repair);
- equipment on the beach - although there are a lot of sun loungers with umbrellas, only about half of them have fences from the wind. And in winter, without them on the beach - nothing at all. Until 10 in the morning it was possible to find free ones, and earlier there was nothing to do on the beach, a very strong cold wind;

- the sea is, rather, not a minus, but a feature of the hotel's location in the bay. The hotel has a long pier that goes into the sea for 300 meters. In the coastal zone - dead coral and constant low tide, that is, knee-deep water and swimming - no way. Probably, in the warm period, such a pier is only a plus (living coral and many marine life), but in winter the wind is even stronger on the pier than on the shore, and the sea is quite restless. Although there were quite a few avid snorkelers, most were in wetsuits (recommended). In the next right hotel Labranda - a bay, you can swim there, but without using sunbeds;
- there are obviously not enough cabanas on the beach. Showers with fresh water are far from the sea, due to the fact that the beach is huge. There is no toilet on the beach, the nearest one is near the snack restaurant, there are only 3 cabins, which is not enough. Also in the beach area there is a toilet on the side of the spa center (building 8) and near the first line of building 3, only 1 cabin each. Although we must pay tribute - always clean;
- water is replenished in the room by 0.5 l bottles per person every day. We didn’t have enough, we collected from bottles-coolers of restaurants without problems, but we must not forget to take an empty bottle with us. Water of normal quality;
- on the open terrace near the restaurant, where animation takes place in the evenings, and in the morning and afternoon people just sit and relax, drink coffee, all tables are for smokers. Also, everywhere in this zone it is allowed to smoke shisha (hookah). As a result, it is difficult for a non-smoker and children to be there. I am sympathetic to the rights of smokers, but these zones could be divided;
- the eternal problem of all hotels in Egypt - the lack of high-quality Internet, even for money, even for free. Exit - 3G card of a local mobile operator (it is better immediately upon arrival at the airport, because the hotel is located 40 km from Hurghada). You can ask your hotel guide to help in this matter (he can buy and bring), guides from a normal tour operator will always help.
But all these moments are trifles. It is very important that the hotel creates an atmosphere of coziness and comfort in which you can relax and enjoy your vacation. As guests of the hotel, we felt the respect and attentive attitude of the staff, not a single feasible request was denied to us. I would return to this hotel with pleasure.
