I am writing a review here, because despite the fact that we ordered Stella Gardens, upon arrival they announced to us that they would settle in Beach, since Gardens had not yet opened after quarantine. It was dumb to buy a tour in the era of quarantine restrictions, the last days were all on my nerves, whether they would close the border, whether our temperature would rise, whether PLR tests would be introduced (terrible not so much as a result, but through the sky). But everything worked out, they slipped through. But about everything in more detail and in order. Although there will be a lot of bukaf.
Flight. Everyone was wearing masks, staff and passengers, the temperature was measured only at the entrance to the airport (flying from Kyiv). Further as usual, except perhaps very quickly - there are few flights, there are no queues, all customs slipped through in 15 minutes. Attention smokers (we are one of those) - in Boryspil they hung the smoking areas with wolf cubs, such as in connection with quarantine, there is nowhere to smoke, so take it into account. In Hurghada, they limited themselves to drawing marks where they had to stand, and only 4 people could enter.
On the plane, you can’t take off the mask, the flight attendants constantly asked to put it on. Smashed through the water in a bottle of 0.33 and a damp napkin. The air shop does not work, there is nowhere to buy food either. At the exit from the plane in Hurghada, the temperature was again measured and quickly passed through customs. Fortunately, a visa for Ukraine (I don’t know about other countries) until October 1 is free even for the mainland.

The transfer also took place in masks, the three of us and another family, also together with a child, were the only passengers in the minibus and went to the same hotel, but they initially bought tickets to Beach. Therefore, we did without arrivals at other hotels. The journey took 35 minutes.
Security. Let me start with it, as the work of hotels has changed under the new conditions. And it will run like a red thread throughout the review. According to the guide, in Egypt, 40-50 cases per 100 million people are recorded daily. In Ukraine, at the time of departure, this figure was 1800 to 42 million. The difference is colossal, nevertheless, the safety issues of tourists were resolved at the highest level at the hotel. Zero comments really. All staff, especially those who work in direct contact with guests, wear masks and gloves. And a couple of times I saw how in the back room of the restaurant the waiters were given new gloves. Guests go without masks, only newcomers wearing them go to the reception desk or restaurant for the first time. Everything is washed and disinfected, including the sides of the seats of the chairs, the curls of the frames in the paintings. And not in public, not for show. I went out to smoke at night, I saw how the paths and roadsides were disinfected with a sprayer. And early in the morning they scrubbed the railings of the pier, although they are already washed by the sea at high tide.
There are sanitizers everywhere, at the entrances to the buildings, near the bars, on the tables. There are no salt and pepper shakers to avoid contact, only disposable bags of salt and pepper. There was also a kit in the room - a mask, gloves, a sanitizer. The gel in the sanitizers is very good, smells good, dries instantly, does not dry the skin of the hands.
Number. We had the 3rd floor, room 2211.2 - building, 2 - floor (although we lived on 3, the number 0 is near the first floor, the 2nd floor is 1, the 3rd is 2, respectively). I am not one of those who will photograph a scratch on the wall from 5 angles, so I will omit minor flaws. After all, at home, most also have a catch on the curtain and cracked tiles in the bathroom, and it does not interfere with the harvest. Everything worked, only the air conditioner made a lot of noise and blew until they figured it out and set the "Low" mode instead of the high one. The mattresses are excellent, do not fail, the linen is snow-white. On the balcony you could see the sea through the leaves of the palm trees. The biggest plus of this room, as, probably, of the neighboring and lower floors, was the location: the buildings are slightly curved, like a boomerang, and it was located just in the concave part of this boomerang, and all day in the shade. By the way, not all buildings face the sea, some stand with their backs to it, overlooking the garden.

Cleaning. According to the new rules, it is done on request, while being in the room is not allowed, at most, to go out to the balcony. Since I don’t have much idea in what form one should go to bed in order to demand a change of linen daily and to what condition the towels should be brought in order to change them daily, we did not ask for cleaning. Hang a wet towel on the balcony to dry your hands do not dry out. Nevertheless, the cleaner each time asked if anything was needed. And yet he cleaned, replenished water supplies, took away garbage. Beach towels, by the way, are also now issued with the room, and are changed on request, there is no exchange on the way to the beach, everyone carries it with them.
Territory. I had to be in hotels with a moronic layout, here the compactness of the territory and the ease of orientation were appreciated. A huge plus of the hotel for me personally was that it is not noisy. I do not like it when the whole day rattles in the ears from the pool, on the beach and in the restaurant. Here, if there was music, it was quiet and not intrusive. Maybe due to the lack of people. When we arrived, the hotel was very little filled. There are several people in the pools, some are completely empty. Plenty of free sunbeds. At sea, there are no queues on the stairs, under the pier there is no broth of those who are afraid to sail further than a meter from the pier. But this is not for long, as the hotel is designed for a large number of guests, and as flights open, the occupancy will be more and more. When we were, flights were allowed by Ukraine and Belarus, + local Arabs vacationing. A couple of days later, Romania, Serbia, England opened. They flew away, saw Austria on the scoreboard. From September 1, they seem to promise to let Germany in. In the meantime, all hotels are experiencing a crisis and, as for me, they have begun to treat Russian-speaking guests better. Maybe until the Germans and Italians arrived.
Nutrition. A lot has been written about taste and variety, I subscribe to every word, they really enjoyed the food. Yes, quarantine has reached here. Racks with dishes (snacks, sweets, bread) are separated by wolf cub, hot ones are behind glass. It happens like this. Waiters walk between the tape and the racks. You show them what you want, they take a plate, put it on. They follow them to another dish, they also impose it on instructions. Hot dishes are covered with lids and separated by glass. Many are getting ready. There are color photos in front of the containers and it is written (in Russian too) what kind of dish. The inscriptions do not always match - beef with sauce (I don’t remember the name) turned out to be a tongue, and okroshka - cold Russian soup - was hot broth with cabbage. The system is not very convenient, since you cannot choose the piece you like - someone loves the leg, and someone likes the thigh or breast, although you can ask to lift the lid and show the desired piece. On the other hand, this approach should be adopted in the future - much less waste is obtained. You yourself know how they collect full plates of rolls, cakes, fruits, so that others do not get it. And they throw it on the tables, because it doesn’t fit. You can't crowd in bars either. Waiters run around with trays, you order, they bring. Access is forbidden even to juice machines (albeit of disgusting quality, chemical to hysteria, the whole tongue is orange). It is inconvenient that it is impossible to correct on the spot how much to pour, whether to add ice. Several times asked with ice, brought without. Coffee-tea also constantly had to run around asking for sugar or water, depending on the strength.
Not all a la cards work, only Indian and Italian. We went to Indian, delicious, but everything is very peppery, not even for an amateur, but for a person with a tinned stomach. And huge portions, you can safely take 1 for 2. In Italian, they said, too, 1 pizza is enough for 3-4 people.

Pools and slides. Although the Gardens is still closed, who cares, I inform you that the slides are working. Wave pool too. And the bars next to them. Time - from 10 to 17. You can drive upstairs on a shuttle bus. With us, he went without a schedule and only between 2 receptions, not to the sea, but the driver is always nearby. Just sit down, he comes out and carries. Back, if necessary, the guard will call him. (P. S. for whom it’s not difficult, feed the cat who lives at the stop at the 2nd reception and the cat with two kittens, she is in the bushes between the first children’s pool towards the sea and the pool with a bar, behind the back of the lifeguard. Responds to our kitty kitty . )
Beach. In some review I read that the hotel is not for those who need the sea. I partially agree, I will only expand the concept from my bell tower. I am one of those who travel only for the sake of the sea and the reef. If they settled in the Gardens, as planned, it would be stressful. Walk not 10 minutes along a beautiful path, but VERY long. Who has enough swimming in the pool, and there are a lot of them, the option is ideal. But who wants to go to the sea before and after breakfast and lunch, get ready for long transitions. You need to go from your building to the pier. And then another 500 steps (counted) to the hot sun pier - 400 - to the lagoon and about a hundred - to the descent. If you forgot something, you need to go to the toilet or drink (and sea water and a pipe dry your throat just like that), the entire long pier must be overcome again. In Gardens it is even worse - to get to the bus, wait, drive, walk 400 m of the beach to the pier and another 200 m along the pier itself. And so several times. On the third day, you'll get bored. But this is not the fault of the hotel, and nothing can be done because of the large area of low tide. Just consider. Also of the minuses - we found only one beach shower, and then aside.
Reef, lagoon. On the first dive, the reef was disappointing. Fine! A couple of meters to the sand, and behind the line of buoys, you can generally walk neck-deep, then waist-deep in water. And there are few fish, no large ones, a standard set of any reef, except perhaps a lot of lionfish, stingrays and clowns. But upon closer examination, it turned out not to be so bad. If you swim to the left (facing the sea), then there is a line of buoys above a shallow depth (a couple of meters), then a large area where you can walk up to your neck in water along the reef, and then a large reef protrudes into the sea (almost near the ships, on the spot see). This is where the usual "correct reef" begins with the abyss going down and huge inhabitants - tuna, Napoleon, black eagle stingray and others. But it's really scary and far to swim. It is also interesting to swim to the right, not too shallow, but there is no abyss under your feet either. But most of all I liked that the reef is not just alive. He is REALIVE!! ! Young thickets of corals rise from the depths in different places - not broken off, not gnawed by fish, growing. And this is very good.
This is especially visible in the lagoon. Who needs to shoot a beautiful underwater video, take pictures of fish and corals, go down the stairs to the paddling lagoon. At low tide, to the left of the dark round spot (there is nothing interesting there, a funnel with algae), dark areas of the reefs will be visible. Around them at low tide, you can also walk and shoot more clearly. I also recommend dragging here those who are afraid of the depth or cannot swim, but want to see the underwater world through a mask.

Animation. Enough has been written about the animation team, I agree with all the reviews, especially about Adam. A charismatic lively guy who instantly falls in love with all the kids and at the sight of which the mood rises. In general, I recommend the hotel with a clear conscience. And thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay. Even after 12, when our paid time ended, we did not become second-class people, waste material that should be ignored. They said goodbye to us as if they were close relatives.
