Our trip started on January 7th for 2 weeks 2+1. We were at the hotel around 2pm. We were all settled immediately. I asked for a good room, they gave it without any problems: good location, first floor. We were satisfied (no additional payments were made).
The room is quite cozy, but in some places the furniture is already tired, especially wardrobes. They clearly require replacement or restoration. And the extra bed for the child is already very worn, especially the gnawed headboard. The minibar is completely empty. Daily bring 3 bottles of water, if necessary, bring more. Everything else is for an extra charge. I was unpleasantly surprised. We, of course, do not drink cola, fanta or other Egyptian drinks, that is, there is no problem for us - but this is surprising for a 5-star hotel.
Room cleaning is daily. Laying out figures from towels, too, and then the persistent interest of the cleaner, he could easily come, knock and ask if we liked it, clearly hinting at a tip. We often left tips for him, but not every day, but we were afraid of him every day already)))) Other guests also complained about this. But these are the nuances of the Asian mentality, so we took everything calmly.

The food in the restaurant is excellent. Every night themed parties. Fish, squid, veal, chicken, duck. Turkey, seafood - all the time!! ! Grilled large crabs several times. Vegetables and salads are quite diverse. Fruits: bananas, oranges, melon, guava, dates, apples. Quite often we were spoiled with delicious strawberries.
Drinks are all locally produced.
The animators deserve special praise. We had a great time!! ! We knew everyone by name, learned all the club dances. During the day: stretching, bocha, volleyball, Yoga, Zumba and more. There were always a lot of people! The animators are all young, very cool, it was a pleasure to communicate with them.
The territory of the hotel is very large, beautiful and well-groomed. The pools were unheated and cold. Therefore, we swam all the time in the beautiful, very warm sea !!!
Free Internet only at the reception, but very poor. I strongly recommend to buy a card upon arrival at the airport. Makadi is far enough away, so especially in the city, given the cost of a taxi, you will not run into.
I can recommend the hotel, we had a great rest for 2 weeks, got tanned, gained extra pounds and did not want to leave.
