We rested in this part of Egypt for the first time, before that we were in Sharm, we had long wanted to visit Luxor, and it was just interesting to compare, since the reviews were great, as was the price (a week cost us 20.000 UAH for two from Kyiv).
For the most part, I agree with the reviews, but there are moments that I would like to warn about, so that future tourists understand what to expect besides the beautiful territory, friendly staff and delicious cuisine.
First of all, it's wind! It blows constantly, the difference is only in its strength, you need to be prepared for this. Of course, we read that this place is windy, but we didn’t think it was that much. It’s uncomfortable to swim, because while you’re lying under the protection of a straw wall, it’s like nothing, but the closer you get to the water, the less desire to get into the invigorating water, which you still need to walk along the pontoon, many vacationers simply didn’t swim corny, even in the amazing pool (+ 18 is still cold). Although maybe it all depends on the amount of hot liquid inside. But I am only describing my feelings.
Regarding the reef and fish - maybe we were unlucky, maybe the time of day was not right, and the weather was not conducive, but compared to Sharm - there are no fish and corals !! ! Yes, some fish were observed, even a stingray was seen, but after the rich coral reef near the Sharm hotels, this is not it! (after all, everyone compares with what they have already seen). Therefore, if you expect beautiful views under water, then this is not here, perhaps they show more on excursions.

It's worth it!
