The hotel definitely does not deserve such a high rating, it is very interesting what percentage of reviews here are real. This is not a budget 5-rka, it is a barn that barely reaches the 4-ki, given the huge number of negative points. The territory is really large and well-groomed, but at the same time the lobby building is dirty everywhere; stained windows, in the main restaurant and bars, upholstered furniture smells terrible, it is greasy and covered in stains. But fortunately there is not much upholstered furniture here, 95% of everything you have to sit on is hard, uncomfortable chairs with wooden backs.
The air conditioners are very noisy in the rooms, even at the minimum settings, they looked in another room, they called an engineer who just knocked out the dust from the filters - the noise is the same. Upon arrival at this "five" you will not even be given slippers, we have been waiting for ours for a day. We also came across a room with a very well-installed faucet in the washbasin, just a genius of engineering (pictured). We wrote to the operator (Join Up), but our guide Mukhtar did not help to change the hotel.
A lot of people praise the food, which is actually very monotonous, there are moments, but a HUGE MINUS IS THE CHOICE OF FRUIT. At the height of summer we were given nothing but apples, oranges, green and tasteless melons and pears. Sometimes dates came across, on the last day there were just disgusting peaches - tiny, hard and green (pictured). I have not seen such a "variety" of fruits even in triplets in winter. Don't expect any seafood, they're only here for a bi-weekly theme night. Basically, these themed nights are chicken cooked in different ways. The grill at the entrance to the restaurant stinks strongly of burning, the smell is nauseating. There are no juices, instead of it there is a terrible chemical yuppie, ice cream for money, vegetables often come across some kind of sour, the same applies to olives.

The two main disadvantages are the sea and the location of the hotel itself. You won’t be able to swim near the beach, you need to walk along the pontoon for 300 meters. There is little space on the pontoon, a few sunbeds and people are constantly crowded. But the worst thing is that yachts are constantly moored there, running almost on their heads, all this is complemented by a bunch of people coming out of there and a terrible smell of solarium. We were at a windsurfing school in a nearby hotel, which is located on a nearby beach and there is a very pleasant lagoon right next to the beach, you can swim without traveling along the pontoon. About the location - the hotel is 40 kilometers from Hurghada, not 20, as some authors of positive reviews write. This means that on all excursions from guides you will lose 2.5-3 hours only on the road, because all excursions are from Hurghada. There is nothing near the hotel if you get tired of terrible fruits - there is nowhere to even buy them, so don't count on cheap mangoes in summer.
I advise you to take a safari and diving from the local guys on the beach, they are a little more expensive, but MUCH better. We took ATVs near the hotel - just super, I recommend it to everyone. In general, I do not advise taking excursions from a guide, we were all very bad, the guide constantly deceived. He promised that there would be a half-empty bus to Cairo and we hoped to sleep, as a result, the bus was packed and we gathered people at all hotels for THREE HOURS.
Mostly the hotel staff are very nice, we had a wonderful guy who cleaned the room well. The animators are nice too, but we didn't interact with them. At the reception, not the most friendly people, as soon as we arrived, we wanted to pre-register in a la carte. We were told that all week there were no places in any restaurant, and only after the intervention of the guide they suddenly appeared. Gardens restaurants are closed, only Indian and Italian are available at the Beach itself. In Indian, the same song plays all the time, and the food there is not very tasty. They didn't even bring what was written on the menu. Better Italian, tasty pizza and mushroom soup, but we ordered crab from the paid menu and it was terrible - with a stale smell and bitter taste, the meat itself was like porridge.
I will not return to the hotel under any circumstances and I do not advise you. But a huge plus - after such a rest, it is doubly pleasant to return to the comfort of my own home.
