Our vacation began on 24.07. 2018 but it was more of a stay than a long-awaited vacation. Therefore, about everything consistently.

1) Room, reception, service

But let's start in order: we arrived at 21.00 and the first thing that struck us - a large number of representatives of the Oriental peoples (ARAB) who are the main guests at this hotel. Therefore, the service is adjusted to them. And the result of all this was: DIRT TABLES in the dining room (it's hard to call it a restaurant), complete unsanitary conditions in the toilet near the reception and about the cleanliness of the floor in the restaurant and the main hall is better not to write. The quality of cleaning in the room did not differ much, for 10 days of stay, the dust in our room was not wiped once (even $ 1 did not help) and garbage was swept away where it lay in heaps.

As for the bed and towels: when we were forced into the room, the beds were covered with a clean white bed in the bathroom and toilet was a set of towels also in good condition but their number did not match the number of people in the room and we easily solved this problem. The bathroom had a shower, bath, toilet and bidet. The plumbing was new, but no one was watching its cleanliness. There was also no iron in the room and after repeated requests we were heard only on the 4th day of rest. The air conditioning in the room was quite noisy, so we turned it on

2) The beach

The hotel is located on the 2nd shoreline, so vacationers can reach the sea by taffeta or on foot from the reception in 10 minutes. There were enough sunbeds and free space on the beach. There were also 2 bars with drinks and one bar with snacks where we sometimes had lunch.
As for towels issued on the beach - they were not pleasant to lie on, we took towels by the pools in our hotel.

3) The sea.

When we first got to the sea, what we saw surprised us. In front of us was a naked dead coral 200 meters long and only then we realized that it was low tide, from 16:00 the sea returned to shore. There was no sandy descent, we could swim after walking 300 meters along the pier where there was a descent into the sea with a sandy bottom. Near the descent in shallow water was a coral reef, where children and those who can not swim can see the beauty of the underwater world. Stingrays and various fish often swam along the left side of the pier. At the end of the pier there are two coral reefs where you can swim with a mask and flippers. There at 10.00 in the morning moor boats that take tourists on a dive and dump garbage, after high tide the water becomes clean and you can swim safely

The hotel area is very large and green but this is not an option for families with small children because the distance from the buildings to the sea is quite large. During the day we walked about 9.000 steps. Hotel staff monitor the condition of plants and lawns. We have repeatedly witnessed the staff pruning shrubs and lawns. The condition of the pools was also monitored. Every morning they were cleaned and the area around them was cleaned. In general, the overall impression of the hotel's landscape remained positive.

4) Restaurant - dining room.


The restaurant is the biggest downside of this hotel. There is complete chaos and unsanitary conditions. The tables are dirty and in divorces no one cleans them but just rubs food on them. Napkins lying on the tables have never seen water and soap, so you can find out what the last tourist ate. Appliances and plates were not well washed, they often had food left on them, so we wiped them with disinfectant.
Often through the open kitchen door you could see dirty napkins lying on the floor and plates of food standing on greasy surfaces. Clothes for waiters and cooks (who cooked omelets cooked spaghetti and cut meat was dirty. fish, stew, french fries, etc. The food was not tasty and monotonous. The restaurant had a separate room with the same type of desserts. It impressed with a very small range of fruits and vegetables. Also in the restaurant there was no children's menu.

However, they know how to cook, we saw this by visiting Indian and Chinese restaurants.

5) Tours + guide
Our guide from the tour operator "TUI" was Red Ahmet, whose main task was to "quell" the tours. We bought him a tour to Luxor and a sea diving trip. Got a lot of good emotions from the tours.
So, the general impression remains quite twofold: the disadvantages of this hotel are significant, but there are also advantages.

For myself, I realized that in Stella Di Mare Gardens, I do not want to spend further vacation.
