Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For families with children
This year we were lucky to "catch" a good price at Stella Di Mare Beach Resort and Spa Makadi bay.
Vacation in 11 days, each of which was wonderful.
The hotel area is very large, cozy and well-groomed, I fell in love with their emerald carpet lawns, and in general there is plenty of greenery here.
The number of rooms is gradually and systematically updated. Thanks to the tour operator Tui-Ukraine, agent Irina Trotsenko, the Quest-Voyage travel company and Andrey's help in organizing an individual transfer, we were settled immediately upon arrival.

My godfathers and I lived in rooms 2008 and 2010. Everything is in order, the plumbing is new, the furniture is clean and solid. Change of towels and bed linen every day. Special thanks for this to Abdullah, who every day entertained us with figures from towels. In general, the staff is very polite and helpful, they are constantly interested in whether everything is fine, they fulfill all wishes almost immediately. The hotel is still more focused on European tourists, but with the pandemic there are much fewer of them, if not to say that there are practically none at all.
By the way, about safety, there are antiseptics everywhere, right at every step - at the entrance to buildings, in the lobby, on tables in restaurants, in public toilets, staff in masks, stickers everywhere about the need to maintain social distance, tables in restaurants are distant from one another . There is always temperature screening at the entrance.
Food is a completely separate issue. It's really very, no oooooochen tasty and varied, although we are not picky. From seafood - shrimp were twice a week, squid in different versions every day, like fish. There are enough side dishes, an abundance of vegetables, interestingly decorated and tasty cold appetizers, salads; from fruits - banana, grapefruit, orange, guava, dates, pear, figs; mango and peach - in desserts. And the desserts are so fire!! ! It is simply impossible to try them all, however, like all dishes in the main Andalusia restaurant.
I would also like to draw the attention of vacationers to a-la carte restaurants - Italian and Indian. They didn’t get into Indian, but they took their souls to Italian - the dishes are different from those served in the main restaurant. Delicious 4 cheese and tuna pizza, beef escalopes, lasagne and mozzarella ravioli. It's just mamma mia. The dinner menu must be ordered in the morning, on the expected day of dinner. Book tables in advance. All drinks in all locations are brought by waiters. The impatient go to the bar themselves) Good red wine, beer is also quite decent - bottled Stella; juices - in lunch boxes and in an Italian restaurant packaged, in other locations - powder) Alcohol - well, like everywhere else in Egypt. Tea in bags, coffee from the machine, brewed - for a fee. Hookah bars are closed due to the pandemic, but for us it was not relevant at all.

The animation is lively, not boring and not intrusive, there is beach volleyball, water aerobics, yoga, exercises, football on the grass for children. The kids club, again, is closed due to the pandemic, but there is a playground. Every evening the animation team puts on interesting entertainment shows, Alex, Jenny and her husband, Omar, Vika - you are all just super. For fans there are two American billiard tables (for a fee) and, unfortunately, only one ping-pong. Queues for which are not rare. It would be nice to add at least one more. There are huge cool chess. This is definitely not a boring family vacation.
The sea... mmm, just fresh milk, no, not even milk, but warm tea, especially at dawn at 5:30-6:00 am. The underwater world is interesting, almost at the pontoon pier we saw tuna, turtles, moray eels, lionfish, surgeons, rays, octopuses and a bunch of all sorts of fish, even the name of which we don’t know. There is a diving club, the pools are gorgeous, with waterfalls. True, the water in them is colder than in the sea. It was windy 6 days out of 11, it was a little uncomfortable to get out of the water, but the air and sun are just magical. In early November, there is no sweltering heat and you don’t immediately turn into a cutlet in the sun)
The beach is large, sandy, there are enough umbrellas and sun loungers for everyone, there are barriers-baskets from the wind, entry into the sea from a pontoon. There is a descent for children and those who swim poorly. But coral shoes are desirable. A pontoon of 380 meters at first seems long, but it's not even bad - there is where to walk). The reef becomes more saturated if you sail to the right of the pier, where lifeguards are on duty. But there is where to swim - the buoys are far away. And there are always song crows on the beach that steal food from the beach restaurant.
There is always security on the territory, other people's cars are not allowed outside the gate. By the way, the receptionists are very polite and not arrogant. During the rest there was a nuisance - the card from the number cracked - no problem and changed for free in 10 seconds.
Everywhere there are facilities for people with disabilities.
In short, the hotel is definitely worth the money. I really want to come back here again. We already miss you!! !
