I’ll make a reservation right away (! ), that the photo will show views not only of this hotel, but also of neighboring ones. But they were all accessible in terms of getting around the beach and using the pontoon.

The contingent of vacationers: the vast majority are Germans, there are also Ukrainians, there are a few Arabs.

Arrival and check-in.

We arrived in the morning and were already at the hotel around 9:30. Immediately the room was not yet ready, because the official check-in is from 14:00. The bracelets were put on right away. We had breakfast, walked along the beach area of our own and the neighboring two hotels on the right. By 12:00 we went to the reception to find out if the room was ready. The room was ready. We settled in without any hint of additional payments. Everything in the room worked! A couple of small things were fixed immediately. Second floor: the ants did not run, a mosquito flew in a couple of days, which was successfully caught and eliminated.

Service.
The room was cleaned daily.
The quality of cleaning is acceptable: no frills, but no complaints.

Territory and beaches.
As for me, the territory is thought out: not small, but at the same time understandable and compact.
Since there were two hotels of the same chain on the front page (Labranda Royal Makadi 5 and Labranda Club Makadi 4), the territory of both ball hotels is accessible for walking, as is part of the infrastructure (gym, table tennis and table football). A la carte restaurants (there are several) were available at least every day for free, but by appointment. Of these, I can definitely recommend Italian and Cuban. Extremely not inspired by the burger restaurant (but there is no dispute about tastes). Who will come for 5-7 nights will have time to try everything (there seem to be 5 of them). Delicious coffee is prepared in the Cairo cafe (the same is included in the all-inclusive system).
The territory of the beaches, including sun loungers, was available for both hotels of the Labranda chain. In Royal, the sea was more pleasant in terms of sand and entry into the water with a smoother sink into the depths.
In the Club, the sand in the water seemed a little rougher and the entry with a slightly sharper set of depth. The low tide in both lagoons (each hotel has its own lagoon) was not critical even on a full moon (the water receded a little, but it did not bring any discomfort).
Two Labranda hotels do not have their own pontoons.

There is an island on the right side of the Labranda Club Makadi lagoon. You can swim to it without any problems. For a comfortable walk around this island, I highly recommend coral slippers. From the long edge of the island to the end of the coral, theoretically, you can walk somewhere waist-deep in water with coral slippers. But the coral there is not very convenient for walking, especially considering the waves coming at you and a fairly strong wind. But if you reach the end of the coral and put on a mask, then, feeling the strength, you can swim to the right to the neighboring pontoon (about 400 meters offhand).
I have not tried it, but whoever wants to make such a swim, then please calculate the forces and weather conditions, because there will be practically no place to leave the race.
Yes, when sailing to the island, you can meet a stingray in shallow water. There is practically no diversity of fish in shallow water and in lagoons. Actually, if you don’t swim beyond the end of the reef (it’s about 250 meters from the shore), then you can say that there are no fish at all, therefore, a mask and a snorkel are practically useless in this situation.
A nice feature is that along the beach strip you can walk without restrictions both to the left and to the right, not only along the two Labranda hotels, but also further. Nobody stops or makes any remarks. I emphasize that we are talking about the beach strip.
You can also easily use the pontoons of at least two neighboring hotels: on the left (Stella Makadi Gardens) and on the right (Harmony Makadi Bay), which close after sunset (17:00 during our stay there).
It is not advertised, but it is not prohibited either.
It seems to me that this is a reasonable gesture of the owners of these hotels, because Labranda hotels have excellent lagoons for swimming from the shore, but there is no pontoon, while its neighbors, on the contrary, do not have a comfortable entry from the shore, but have pontoons. They complement each other perfectly.

Food and drink.
I want to emphasize that the quality and range of dishes is very decent! An assortment of fruits is also present (there were guava, dates, apples, bananas, etc. ). Compared to similar class hotels of this level, this one clearly wins in terms of food quality.
All inclusive local alcoholic drinks are okay (not nasty, but nothing special either). Who needs high-quality alcohol - better buy in duty free.
If necessary, it was possible to order dry rations at the reception without any problems in case of an early departure for an excursion or an early departure.

Internet.

There is Internet in public places, but rather weak and with frequent breaks. Oddly enough, but the Internet finished off to the beach, although it did not catch well everywhere. There was no free internet in the room.

Weather.
The weather, as for me, was not very "beachy". The sea was invigorating. A strong wind blew almost constantly, which made it rather uncomfortable to get out of the water.

Excursion to Luxor (via Pegas) - you can visit once.
The trip took place with the operator Pegas. Our route started from the hotels of the Makadi area (in fact, it can be considered from Hurghada). Visited attractions:
Luxor Temple. Quite an interesting place. The valley of the sphinxes leads from it to the Karnak temple, although it has not yet been completely reconstructed.
From the “city of the living” to the “city of the dead” we sail on a motorboat across the Nile River. The route takes 5 minutes. The river, like a river, is quite clean, I did not see anything unusual in it in Luxor. There are no crocodiles, because
all of them remained below the Aswan Dam, built with the support of the former USSR.
Temple of Hatshepsut (the only female queen). The temple is interesting to see from the outside. I didn't see anything interesting inside.
Factory museum of papyrus. A short story about the manufacture of papyrus. And so the shop as a shop. Whoever needs papyrus badly can be purchased for every taste and size.
Souvenir shop. There are a large number of products, you can choose something as a souvenir.
Tombs in the Valley of the Queens. I must say right away that there are no mummies here, because all the mummies “left” to Cairo. There are pictures on the walls. In general, the tombs did not impress at all. Photos inside are prohibited. Local workers come up with all sorts of funny tricks to cheat tourists for a dollar.
Leaving Luxor, we make a short stop near two massive stone statues - the singing colossi of Memnon. Somehow I expected to see something more grandiose.
In general, this excursion takes about a day, moderately tiring, it's worth a trip once.

Excursion “Grand Aquarium Hurghada”.
Located next to Hurghada Airport. This is the largest aquarium in Egypt (plus a small zoo).

There is a wide variety of fish, rays, sharks, moray eels, turtles.
At the entrance there is a pond where you can feed voracious fish from your hand. I recommend, positive impressions are guaranteed. The aquarium worker himself offered to feed (for free).
Lots of marine life. Everything is beautiful.
The zoo has crocodiles, flamingos, monkeys. Take a good harvest of seeds (from a sunflower) for the monkeys - a lot of impressions!
A place worth visiting!

Summary.
I would love to visit this hotel again! I liked a lot.
