New Year was celebrated in this hotel and, as it turned out, it was the best decision. We flew through Hurghada and then a transfer of 3.5 hours from the airport to the hotel. The ride was comfortable and didn't feel long. There are direct flights to Marsa Alam from Kyiv, if it is still difficult for anyone. We checked into the hotel in the morning at 9 o'clock. We were settled immediately. The room is large, partly overlooking the sea (although the ticket was indicated on the garden). Everything worked, there were no comments, very clean, snow-white towels (cleaning and change of towels every day). When we checked in, we did not pay extra, there were no hints of money, as is often the case in Egypt. The staff is very friendly, warmly welcome, attentive to all questions and wishes of vacationers. The contingent of vacationers is mainly Europeans, but there were also Ukrainians.
As for the restaurant, the food was excellent, varied and tasty, and the New Year's Eve dinner was generally impressive with its range of dishes! For a week of rest, they cooked crabs on the grill 2 times, 2 times baked duck, quail once and every day beef, chicken and fish cooked in different ways. Since the owner of the hotel is Italian and many Italians were resting in the hotel, every day for lunch and dinner the Italian chef cooked pasta with different sauces. Also a wide variety of vegetables, salads, herbs. Of the fruits, there were guava, baby bananas, tangerines, strawberries, watermelons, dates, grapes, and even physalis, probably (we could not identify these yellow berries for sure). There was always enough food, even if you came to the restaurant half an hour before the end of lunch / dinner.
The sea is shallow right off the coast, so a long pontoon is installed. From the pontoon you immediately go down to a great depth and see the whole underwater world and unreal sea beauties. If you can't swim, you can use a life jacket for free. Also, those who wish are given free glasses and tubes. I recommend that you immediately stock up on a mask (with a built-in tube) for the whole face or buy it in a store there, it is much more convenient in such a mask. It is also advisable to take rag gloves with you from home, so that it is convenient to hold onto the ladder when descending into the water or be very careful (a lot of shells caught on and you can injure your hand). Mosquitoes were not seen at all. For such a low cost of the tour, we did not even expect that a vacation could be so good! In general, I recommend the hotel, there were only positive emotions from the rest, I want to return there again. I wish you the same!

The entrance is normal, at first it’s shallow, you have to walk decently to the first coral island, you can even burn a little, and even further immediately like a cliff under water, you just can’t convey the feeling of what you see, there are a lot of interesting things, and this all covers all the shortcomings of the hotel me with my head. The food is average, side dishes are different, fresh vegetables, chicken, sometimes beef, no one will starve, but there is little interesting for gourmets. There is no special entertainment in the hotel, there is nothing special to do outside either. Only if you go on excursions to the islands or just by boat and dive, we were in Luxor, it is relatively not far from it, compared to Cairo. The contingent of vacationers is mainly Poles, Czechs, Italians, Russian-speaking and Arabs are very few. The service staff only speaks some English, but everyone is polite, we had no problems on this basis. So if you are interested in the sea and its inhabitants and you can sacrifice a little comfort, then you can safely fly here, and the price of a vacation is not particularly high.

The hotel is owned by an Italian. therefore, most vacationers are Italians. the rest of the holidaymakers are from Poland, + - maybe several other nationalities. the hotel is not bad, the service is top notch, especially for those with children (Arabs love children). rooms are ok, cleanliness too. the food is normal for a 4, although we try to avoid suspicious dishes. the sea is clear, but not as warm as I'm used to (I usually go there in May) when I usually fly to Egypt. in the mornings, my daughter and I swim in the pools (one has heated water), and then in the sea. we burn at the same time. the day is warm and you can enjoy the sun, though a little windy. but protective weaves on the beach save. lagoon is great. me and my daughter like it. for those who like to snorkel (like my husband), there are good reefs a little further. evenings are cool and windy. I have to wear a sweater and a longer skirt. well, everything is great. we have All inclusive, but I rarely drink alcohol (only for the purpose of prevention, and then from a dutik), so I won’t please you with advice.

Near the restaurant there are shops with all sorts of souvenirs, especially beautiful ones with oriental lamps, in the center there is a swimming pool with a bar. The sea behind the reefs is 500 m stomp, for those who are bored in the pool, there without a mask you can clearly see at least dozens of species of the brightest fish, do not go without special shoes... they say a little further there are a lot of water turtles...
