We rested in the Royal Brake from January 1 to January 8, a few words.
Marsa Alam Airport - spent an hour and a half there. Queues for a visa, then a queue for a passport, then a queue for a SIM card and a queue for exit. Therefore, if you do not want to stand everywhere for a long time in lines, then leave the plane on the first bus, go through all the procedures quickly first and stand on the street and smoke, not in lines.
From the airport to the hotel 50 minutes drive, and then a quick check-in (arrived at 18:30).

Food: normal. For lunch, 1-2 types of meat, a couple of types of cereals and potatoes. The variety is not great, but everything is of high quality and tasty. Soups - delicious everything that was. Grill in the evenings. Coffee from coffee machines, a wide variety of teas, jupis, and more. Lots of sweets, cakes, yoghurts, puddings. Fruits - melons, dates, bananas, oranges, tangerines, pomegranate, guava. There is plenty and enough for everyone. There are no queues, the restaurant is neat, clean, there is no pushing anywhere.
Territory: not big, but everywhere clean and tidy.
Several pools and bars. One warm (no bar), one in the water park (with bar) and one in the center of the hotel, but it was not serviced (probably due to the wind). Lots of sunbeds and enough for everyone. Water park for children under 12 years old maximum.
Beach: big. Lots of sunbeds and paravanes. Beach workers meet guests near the beach and take them to the sunbeds, they also fulfill your wishes (bring paravans, shift sunbeds, etc. ). There is no animation on the beach, there is only boccia and darst. Animation is in the nearby hotel Braika Beach (you can use their territory too). The entrance is sandy in Braica Beach, in the Royal there is only a pontoon. The coral is excellent, the fish are myriad.
The bar on the beach after 13:00 makes not tasty ice cream. Keg beer, normal alcohol, not diluted. Pour into glasses 0.3 or whatever you give.
In the evening there is absolutely no animation. Live music like "Vladimirsky Central" until 22:00 in the main bar and that's it. Therefore, if you are going to Braika, then think about what you will do in the evening.
Separately, I want to note the staff of the hotel. They are all great fellows! Very welcoming, friendly and nice! Any problem like losing a towel, issuing a second key, etc. – resolved quickly and clearly. Without loonies, antics and begging. This made me very happy.
Cleaning every day, change of towels and sheets every day. Upon request - they can give out a beach bag, free of charge and forever (from the cleaner).
I put 7, for the complete absence of animation during the day and in the evening. The rest is at a high level.
