We chose a hotel at a good price. First time in Marsa Alam, 8th in Egypt. This is a different world)))
We arrived at night from Hurghada airport, the road was difficult + 3 hours transfer, we were immediately fed and settled in. The staff is polite, the cleaning is normal, swans from towels for tips. The room was given next to the reception, normal, clean, everything was intact, it worked, the water was always hot, the only cosmetics were liquid soap.
The territory is well-groomed, medium in size, not very much greenery, the highlight is the lake on the territory. The food is ordinary Egyptian, corresponds to 4*, there is something to complain about if desired, but we didn’t))) fish, chicken, liver, beef, duck, vegetables and rice and pasta in assortment and prepared differently, ordinary sweets, fruits, seafood did not have. Coffee and cocoa machine. The alcohol is regular Egyptian. Simply wonderful animation. Well done guys, foam parties, on the beach, in the pool, Egyptian show, Mr. and Miss, daytime entertainment...Somehow it was all fun.

I'm not a fan of animation, but this time it worked. Especially considering that there is nowhere to leave the hotel.
SEA. There were enough places on the beach for everyone, the sunbeds were middle-aged and normal. The reef is beautiful. There are different fish, many small and large. I saw a stingray and Napoleons. And of course the purpose of the trip is a turtle!! ! 2 large ones))) arrived on time in the morning. The sea is cool! A nuance about the pontoon. It's being built. Part on the edge of the reef. You need to walk through water and rocks in corrals, then climb onto a piece of pontoon and go down to the edge of the reef. This...And during the work, a red flag is hung on the pontoon. For the whole day, while they deceive that it is for half an hour or that there is wind, etc. I went to 2 pontoons of neighboring hotels in such cases, it took about 20 minutes to walk to the second pontoon. They let you in there and don’t hang up a red flag, despite the wind; a bonus is the variety of reefs. Considering the price of the tour it's ok.
I think when the pontoon is finished, the hotel will become more expensive))) We didn’t take any excursions, we didn’t buy anything))) Wi-Fi is everywhere, it works even outside the territory along the shore, but there’s no conversation or video, only messages, sending photos and a browser according to your mood)))
Overall the holiday was a success. Marsa Alam is beautiful. The lack of infrastructure did not upset us; the underwater world and services covered everything.
