We went to this hotel after reading good reviews and looking at the high rating. The first time was in Coral Hills and apparently the last (travel time from 11.07 to 24.07). I'll tell you about everything in order.
On the positive side, I would like to note that the staff is very friendly and welcoming. There are no complaints about the animation team either, dancing, exercises, games on the water and sand, evening shows, all the guys are great.
The biggest drawback of this hotel is the inconvenient entrance to the sea and, as a result, dependence on the weather. If the wind, the waves in the sea do not go. Arriving at the sea with the sole purpose of swimming, the first week I had to sit on the shore, as there was a storm, I couldn’t go into the sea, the pontoon at Dreams was closed. It was terrible to come to the sea and sit on the shore, not being able to swim! Due to strong waves in 13 days, the pontoon was opened 6 times, 4 times only in the afternoon and 2 times all day (the last couple of days the waves were smaller). Vacationers were so disappointed. The only entertainment was to stand knee-deep in the water and meet the waves! But if you come closer, there is a risk that the waves will carry you into the sea, having previously scratched it well on the corals. Many vacationers walked around with bruises, abrasions, with open palms and feet.

Once they became witnesses when two people were washed out to sea. A family of five splashed in the breaking wave, apparently came too close. Three were thrown ashore, dragged along the corals (all scratched), and two were carried into the sea. They once tried to get out, got up, but could not resist, they were thrown against the corals again and the current began to drift away from the shore very quickly. One of those who remained on the shore ran for help to the workers of the pontoon (which was closed). He runs, not paying attention to the fact that he himself is covered in blood (his forehead, stomach and legs are scratched). Rescuers came running pretty quickly, began to urgently lower the pontoon. A guy and a girl were in the water, the girl apparently did not know how to swim, she grabbed the guy's back. The rescuer unhooked it with difficulty so that the guy himself swam. With a strong wave and current, it is very difficult to get on the pontoon stairs, but they were pulled out. The girl was just in a state of shock, glassy eyes (cuts on her legs from injuries), the guy got out in one slipper and was more injured, in addition to cuts, there was a lot of blood from his arm. Immediately on the pontoon, they began to provide medical assistance. We were just so impressed.
After this incident, they once again saw how a person was blown away by a wave, but they pulled it out faster because the pontoon was lowered and the rescuers were in place. Swimming on those rare days when the pontoon was lowered is also a continuous extreme, the waves are big, it’s hard to get on the pontoon, it throws you with a wave, the main thing is to get on the stairs. Once a fat aunt was dragged up the stairs by three people, she squealed like a pig, her coordination was poor, she was blown away in waves. They saw the man break his nose on the stairs and lose his mask. On the stairs, a wave covered me with my head, as a result, I was pressed into this staircase (bruises on my legs, arms).
We went swimming for 2 km to Mangrove Bay (30 minutes), there is not a well-equipped place, there is no beach at all, the entrance to the sea is gentle, but covered with round prickly things (corals, or this is a type of vegetation, I don’t know). While you are swimming, you leave things on the shore and you don’t know if they will wait for you or not. There is not much to see in this bay. Once we went to this bay along the shore, we went from the side of the Mangrof hotel, there are beautiful corals. Russians gather in groups to go to this bay. There were 10 of us, you walk along the road, and all the cars passing by consider it their duty to honk.
To swim, tourists are forced to take excursions: to the turtles - $ 25, utopia - $ 13, and so on. We have been on sea excursions twice. The sea became calmer from July 22, so it was possible to swim only in the last days of rest on July 22-24.
In short, if you go to the sea for the purpose of swimming, then there is nothing to do in this hotel, either on rare days you can swim from a pontoon (with a certain health risk), or go to distant lands to a dubious place, or buy an excursion at a local diving center (Utopia for 13 dollars for 3 hours), but for such a separate fee you don’t get much.

This was our seventh trip to Egypt, but we never returned so wounded, beaten and scratched as this time! Swimming was just extreme. I will never recommend this hotel to any of my friends just because of the lack of the opportunity to swim normally when there is wind and waves, because no one will guarantee that there will be calm on your arrival.
Beach towels look like floorcloths, very worn and worn. In the last two days of our stay, new striped towels appeared, unfortunately we did not get them, and used the old ones.
There is a shortage of sunbeds in the hotel, in the last days of our stay there was a large influx of tourists, twice new sunbeds and mattresses were brought on a tractor with a trolley (boo). But they were still few. Sun beds these days we occupied at 5 in the morning, at 6 there were no free sun beds at all. Observed that some tourists had to spread towels right on the sand! Near the pool, the sunbeds were set very close to each other, we even laughed that the next step would be to put the sunbeds on two levels.
They don’t clean up on the beach, this is especially evident in contrast with the neighboring Dreams, everything is cleaned up there, the sand is smoothed out, the sunbeds are set evenly.
Nutrition
The choice is rather poor, the lack of fruits is especially felt. Many dishes are delicious, but very often the food is salty and spicy. But in general, you could always choose what to eat. Everything was always fresh, we did not have any poisoning. A big drawback in this hotel is the situation with drinking water (I meet this for the first time). Upon arrival, they put water (1 small bottle per person) and then you are supposed to go to the cooler with this bottle for water. Firstly, there is not enough (only 2 bottles for two), and secondly, in two weeks these bottles have simply crumpled, it is not pleasant to drink from them, not to mention hygiene. They wanted to buy water in the store, but they said that they were forbidden to sell it. In other hotels, you can take water either in an unlimited amount, or there is a norm (1 liter per day), but this is a new, unopened bottle, and not in such a way that you have to procrastinate one bottle for two weeks!

From 22.07 there was a strong influx of tourists, the restaurant was full, at 19.30 there were no free tables at all, I had to return to my room and go to dinner after 20 hours. I am glad that this was not all the time of the rest, but only the last 2 days.
Settlement
In previous reviews, they wrote that they offer drinks upon arrival. We were not offered any drinks. We waited at the reception for about an hour, then we were taken to the room. The porter boy opens the door to the room, and people live there! An indignant aunt jumped out, the boy apologized to her for a long time, then apologized to us. We went to the reception again, waited for 10 minutes, then they took us to the second room, and there was one big bed! I tell him that there are two of us, we need two beds! We refused the room, again went to the reception desk (all this with a suitcase). The third time they gave me a room in the first house, on the second floor. The room seems to be not bad, but small compared to the main building, next to the laundry room which is very buzzing. But the third time there was simply no strength to return to the reception, although the rumble from the laundry sometimes interfered. Apparently the hotel is not yet ready to receive guests and accommodate them normally, even when not fully loaded! Apparently, when at first they had 9 tourists, they can still cope with such a number, and if there are more tourists, then there are already such problems! So, for the settlement I put a solid deuce!
The hotel is new, respectively, and everything is new in the rooms, but something is already worn out (bedspreads, a curtain in the shower), that is, the charm of the new hotel is no longer there.
Upon arrival, there was no water in the room, the safe did not work, I had to speak to the reception twice, only after the second appeal they brought water, the safe was repaired (I had to carry a bag with money and documents for half a day) and showed how to use it.

I was struck by the complete absence in the room of any necessary little things that are in any hotel, not to mention a hotel that claims to be 4 stars. For example, the lack of soap-and-rind accessories (shower gels, shampoos, soap), there is a dispenser in which there is no soap either. No toilet brush, no information on how to use the safe, no do not disturb sign, no information about the hotel bars, the list of services "all inclusive"). As a rule, if there is an a la carte restaurant, then you can visit it once for free, and so on. And then you had to find out everything, either from conversations with other tourists, or by chance you will find something. So, for example, behind the main restaurant there is a restaurant (without a name), in which tables were set several times a week, tourists were not seen in it, so it’s not clear whether this is an “a la carte” restaurant, or something else ? The hotel has a sauna, some tourists visited it for free, it is also not clear whether such a visit is included in the "all inclusive" or not. Even elementarily there is no information about the phone number of the reception desk, suddenly the hot water tap breaks, or some other situation.
The impression of the rest was twofold, we did not get the most important thing, the opportunity to swim calmly, but you go to the Red Sea exclusively for this.
