The hotel is located 3-4 hours drive from the airport in Hurghada, there is of course another airport in Marsa Alam literally 5 kilometers away, but the Russians still land in Hurghada. (But as we were informed from September there will be a direct flight from Moscow to Marsa Alam, so you can safely rush there : ) )
The hotel is SUPER, like an OASIS that has grown up in the middle of a lifeless desert, a lot of greenery, the territory is very well maintained, the staff is very friendly and attentive!!!
Another thing we really liked is that this is not a separate hotel in the middle of the desert, but a complex, there are 3 hotels Oasis, Sahara and Intercontinental. The territory is not small, the port of Ghalib is also located here, there are cafes, disco, a lot of shops with souvenirs, clothes, jewelry... there is where to walk...
But still, most likely this is a vacation for families... cheerful and noisy companies will be bored there, although... My husband and I went there to take a break from the noisy city, active life, we went to decompose morally and not physically strain... and We have made our dreams come true. . .
The food is wonderful, we never left hungry for all 10 days. Of course, there are those who will sort out, but we are not picky. We tried to make a varied diet every day, for example, today Italian cuisine for lunch, for dinner something from local cuisine, the next day we could have fries with meatballs, for breakfast you can start from ordinary toasts with a variety of waits, butter, sliced, omelettes for your taste, a lot of desserts, fruits, yoghurts, muesli..... you can list a lot more!! ! meat, poultry, fish, and what kind of bread they have!! ! : ) mmmm.....yummy....
Alcohol: whiskey, vodka, wine, beer....we drank mostly beer, although it is low-alcohol, and when after 5-6 glasses we looked at each other with sober eyes, it was even interesting, but then we found out from the restaurant manager than a secret! and the secret is simple, they are simply not interested in having vacationers "attack" and start behaving indecently! and if you want to drink something stronger, then choose whatever you want, except for beer of course : )
The sea is great!! ! I don't want to get out of the water! it’s a bit small near the beach, but I adapted to this, took a mask with a snorkel and admired the marine fauna (and at the same time I got an amazing tan), there are a lot of fish and they are not shy! BE CAREFUL!! ! it’s better not to go there without special shoes, because there are a lot of sea urchins and shells (at first my husband didn’t listen to me, he climbed barefoot and immediately cut his toe). There is also a pier here, at the end of it there are 2 stairs straight into the sea, people also jump from it !! ! take a mask there too, there are stunning coral reefs and a huge variety of fish, there is something to see! divers dive here, dive to the very bottom, but the water is so transparent that you can watch them through the mask as they rummage along the bottom... If you wish, you can also scuba dive, BUT you must have special insurance! ! ! otherwise, God forbid what happens, they are not responsible.
From entertainment at the hotel every evening, an entertainment program... creative activities alternate. As for outdoor activities, this is a paradise for divers, they say there are still practically untouched reefs, there is also a tortoise lagoon nearby....I think next time we will cover all the places! This year we were only on excursions in Luxor! Liked! though the road back and forth is a bit tiring. . . but it's great!! ! : )
Animators also work during the day, everything is not navyashchevo... if you want to participate in their programs, you just want to warm up your bones on the beach or next to the pool...
