We have long dreamed of a train to Marsa Alam. The choice of the hotel was approached carefully. The reviews of Europeans helped us make the final decision (namely, they make up the vast majority of hotel guests). The average age of the guests, in my opinion, is 50+, there are few children. Ideal for a relaxing relaxing holiday.
We arrived at the hotel early, but a $10 bill helped us check in almost instantly. We really liked the room. When, after 2 days, we found out that the air conditioner did not work in it and the administration kindly offered us 3 exchange options, we stayed in the room we liked.
The cuisine at the hotel did not cause any particular complaints, everything is very varied and tasty. Good wine (which I was incredibly pleasantly surprised) and beer. But coffee did not please, but as experienced travelers, we always take it with us. And the assortment of fruits is not too diverse.

The priority for us is the reef and the sea. The house reef did not disappoint, lively and varied.
The lagoons located 500 meters away allow you to enjoy the underwater world even with big waves.
Nearby is the famous Abu Dabab bay with turtles and dugong. We took a taxi for $10.
Turtles saw about 15 pieces, but the dugong did not meet (unfortunately).
In general, I liked the hotel very much. But due to large waves, it is hardly suitable for snorkelers from mid-November to March.
