I am writing a review about a trip to Marsa Alam, because when we were going to go, we found little, so maybe someone will need it.
So:
1) We went with Mostrevel - there are no complaints about the transfer, everything is normal and on time.
2) We flew with Red Wings - there are no complaints, everything was on time, the takeoff / landing was superbly performed, you almost don’t feel overloads, the flight attendants are friendly, there are true “beeches”, but where they are not : )
They flew there on the new TU-204, back on the TU-204, but the old one, there were no complaints about the plane.
3) They settled in the hotel almost immediately, they gave the room that was paid for, the only thing we were 3 families, but they settled separately, although they asked to give rooms nearby.
The room is comfortable, we had a family room on the ground floor, the child climbed over the paropet and played in the planting area.

4) the hotel we had was Sol Y Mar Solaya, of course it is not 5, as Mostrevel positions, but 4 is solid.
I want to draw your attention right away: the hotel is calm, the only thing that gets it is Italian music, except for it there is none.
This is a minus for the hotel and most travel, since you bring Russian tourists to this hotel, then you need to somehow resolve the issue so that they put on not only Italian music, let it be English, German, Russian, well, in general, diversity.
Yes, the guides are not particularly trying to help Russian tourists, there is no zeal, you have to decide everything with the hotel administration.
Moreover, there are practically no Russian speakers in the administration and in the service staff, or rather, they are studying, but so far it’s sucky.
The territory of the hotel is green, there are many plantings, everything is blooming.
Beautiful. For young people and those who like to hang out, of course Iberotel Lamaya is better, there are always discos and so on, although it is next to Solaya.
There are shops across the road and from neighboring hotels, where you can bargain well and bring down the price by almost 2 times, if not more (whoever knows how).
The food is normal, although they say it's better in Lamaia, but we didn't eat there : )
A good bay, very convenient for children, by the way, the Solaya beach is the most profitable because there are buoys on both sides of the bay, like corals and you can’t swim there, and in front of Solaya there is an open entrance to the sea, at first it’s a bit shallow, and then a deepening and corals and fish are nearby swim even in shallow water, the children ran after them and played. Walk 5 minutes along the coast and there is panton, you can’t imagine a better place for snorkeling, there are no fish, beauty (panton is close to the Solomar Koraya hotel, there is also a diving center).

There are 2 pools on the territory of Solaya + 1 for children, children and 1 adult (which is smaller) heated, but in January there are not many people, so we can say that there were no more than 4-5 people in the pool (with us).
5) about the weather: we watched a lot of forecasts almost everywhere showed cloudiness, and not rotten.
Of the 10 days, maybe 3-4 were partly cloudy and not all day, the breeze was also quite strong for 2 days, but it wasn’t cold (only in the evening), on the rest of the days it’s just a gorgeous temperature of 26-30, the water is also normal, when you first enter shallow water, it seems to be cool, and then wonderful. from pantone so in general, even in a strong wind the water is like fresh milk.
6) about excursions: we went to Luxor: sucked from the finger, not impressed, but there is something to see.
we went on a bathyscaphe, the child liked it, we saw dolphins and a turtle, and of course fish
went fishing - you can say it sucks, compared to Sharm, they didn’t catch fish, they didn’t do it beforehand, in general, only snorkeling saved the situation and the beauty of the island around which they fished.
Well, perhaps that's all.
