I want to share my impressions of my 37th vacation in Egypt. I stayed in Marsa Alam at the Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib 4*, all-inclusive system. This is the first hotel I have returned to for the sixth time. The previous times the hotel made a pretty good impression, but I am always afraid to return, because very often there are disappointments.
I flew from Warsaw to Hurghada, the transfer from the airport took a few minutes. I arrived at the hotel at night. I was greeted very kindly at the reception, I was quickly checked in. The room was on the third floor, a plate of fruit was waiting for me and a very beautiful view of the sea and the port. At night, a yacht was standing under my balcony. The room is in oriental style, very beautiful, pleasant and clean, 1 bed, sofa, dressing room, safe, refrigerator, table, small table. Water is brought every day, there is a set for making tea and coffee. The bathroom has a shower, hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo. Everything works great. Small balcony with wicker chairs and a table. The view from the balcony is simply amazing. They cleaned well.

"Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib 4*" - a small hotel, 198 rooms, but very cozy. The territory is not large, but green and beautiful. There are 2 swimming pools (one with children's water slides), a main restaurant, 2 bars, an amphitheater.
At the same time, the location of the hotel is very advantageous. It is a 40-minute walk to Port Ghalib itself, there is a water taxi. Port Ghalib is a very beautiful tourist area: the coast, yachts, palm trees, hotels, restaurants and shops. At night, everything is illuminated, there are many people.
Food. There is one main restaurant and a bar on the beach. The choice of dishes in the restaurant has become even better than last time, everything is fresh, cooked deliciously. The restaurant chef is very friendly and attentive to guests. A large corner with spices has appeared, for me this is a pleasant bonus. The bar on the beach serves fast food. Alcohol is of normal quality for Egypt. The service at the hotel is good. All the staff are friendly and polite. I have added photos of the best bartenders and waiters in my opinion to this review.

The hotel has animation, and in my opinion it is wonderful. Stretching, volleyball and dances are held on the beach. There are also evening dance shows and entertainment such as. At the same time, there is no very loud music, for which I am very grateful. I really liked the fire show.

Beach. The hotel made a beach on an artificial island, which is connected to the road by a bridge across the canal. The distance to the beach is about 500 meters. The road from the beach is already beautiful, especially at sunset. The beach is sandy, large, clean and very well equipped. There is a large bar, shower, toilet. Sunbeds and mattresses are new and comfortable, towels are clean. You can sunbathe in the sun, or you can lie in the shade under the roof. The view from the beach is of Port Ghalib, beautiful yachts are constantly sailing, even large cruise ships enter the Port, but they will not interfere with swimmers, but on the contrary, they add a special charm to the rest. This is one of the most interesting beaches of Marsa Alam. I ordered a romantic seafood dinner by the sea. Everything was very delicious.
Sea. The bay is completely protected from the wind, there are no waves. The entrance to the bay is through a small cleared area. I entered carefully, I did not wear coral slippers. There is a coral wall along the bay. In general, this was my tenth vacation in Port Ghalib. I swam with turtles almost every day. I was delighted with moray eels, stingrays, barracuda and schools of mackerel.
To summarize: the hotel did not disappoint, on the contrary, it became better. The food became even tastier and more varied, the territory is green, blooming and clean. The rooms have retained their unique Arabic style. My room had a fabulous look. Moving the beach to an artificial island is a very good idea. The beach is very comfortable. The service is excellent, you can feel that the guest is taken care of, I felt almost at home. There are minor flaws, but they did not spoil the vacation. For a 4* hotel, everything is fine.
