We rested as a married couple in November 2016. We flew to Hurghada, and from there we drove for almost 4 hours, everything is predictable, not the first time in Mars). The hotel immediately made a good impression. They settled into the room quickly. Spacious and clean. Taught by experience, they took a fumigator from the house. The fact that the sockets are vertical is not scary, at the fumigator the plug switches to two positions - vertical and horizon. ))) The hotel area is well-groomed, but in my subjective opinion it is not green enough. Well, it is. The pool water is cold. The sea is better. The sea with a reef deserve special attention. Very nice, great. Safety shoes are needed, a lot of sharp corals. The beach is sandy and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Pleased that the beach towels are taken from the room. However, bath towels are also changed every day. Room cleaning is ok. The figurines were rotated a couple of times. There are no complaints about food, everything is quite tasty and varied. From the exotic there were crabs, and everything is standard, but I repeat - delicious. We didn’t go to restaurants (paid) at the hotel, but on the waterfront we went to a cafe. Good coffee. You can have a snack at the snack bar on the beach. About excursions. They did not agree to a boat trip, judging by the reviews, you can see the same as on our reef, only for money. In general, the tour operator is very expensive. We went to Luxor, and the trip was taken from an agent whom we met on our last visit to Egypt (found on social networks). This is a local Russian-speaking guide, a great guy and the cost of the trip is much lower than we were told at the hotel. Moreover, we know from experience that everything will be in the best possible way. The trip, of course, is tiring, but in a comfortable bus with air conditioning and on the positive, it flew by quickly. The tour was great, no regrets.
A little more about the hotel staff. Everyone is smiling, friendly and not annoying)) There is animation, good guys, they seem to be trying, but we did not participate. In conclusion, I can say that the hotel met all our expectations, especially the reef, it's 10 points out of 5. Incredible beauty. Hopefully we'll be back. Recommend!
