Rested at the hotel from 16 to 30 August 2011. I am a man, daughter, 5 years old, son 10. Egypt is a country I love. Of course, I really want to see the world and a lot of interesting things in it. But I don't know who, and I always want to go to Egypt, and now in particular to Mars Alam. The trip to this region was the second after Shoni Bay in October 2010 and the nth trip to Egypt in general.

I already had to book rooms in one hotel, but at the last minute I decided to choose Kahramana Garden. First, the difference in price (but this is not the main thing !! ), and secondly, that it is a small and secluded hotel and you can go for free to Dabab. When everything was paid for, I started reading (not watching all of them in 10 minutes) the reviews and was very upset. I really wanted it to be close to the sea. When traveling to the sea, I always have the following conditions - 1 line (no transport), sandy beach, no pier or its length.

For example, the Tulip Pier, which I went to last year, shocked me a little.
Unfortunately, I never went to sea. Of course, I still want a small hotel area and the absence of Russian-Ukrainian tourists, but that's how it will turn out. During my vacation I found answers to some questions about these hotels (Kahraman Beach, Kahramana Garden, Calimera Habiba), some questions remained a mystery. So, personally, my opinion and perception.

1) Is the sea far away? The answer is simple - CLOSE. I noticed. My walk from our bungalow to the nearest beach is 3 minutes, to the far 6. If you go with children, etc. , a little longer, but it was quite relaxed and really close.
2) the beach. There are essentially 3 of them. Gaden, who is closest to Kahraman, is the most beautiful (to me personally), because you can see the mountains there. It was in this puddle that my 5-year-old child learned to swim with a mask and saw fish. I love it! Our regiment has grown! The far one, where the whole animation takes place, is also very beautiful.
The puddle is a little different, but it's also a puddle. There you can see a stingray nearby - very, very close.
My daughter is delighted. I am delighted with her admiration. And from the slope itself. By the way. You can still see very small fish. Picasso with little finger. Cool. Slippers are desirable everywhere. To swim from the pier, you need to go to the main pool, and there is a path. The sea and the reef are amazing. Well just amazing. Turtles, dolphins (in the morning), huge barracuda (s), large rhinos and Picasso. By the way, did not see the lionfish. Shorter. The sea is what you should go there for (although I like not only the sea). So much has been written about Dababa Beach that ...Honestly, I didn't like it very much. That is, I liked it, but there is not enough bar, there is very muddy water, and the reef itself is not special. Yes, it is beautiful, but the hotel's reef is not great. Plus on it, the hotel, not so muddy, because there is no such sand. But turtles. These feelings are indescribable.

For the sake of these turtles and underwater moments, I am ready to give up expensive clothes and any other nonsense. And I'm ready to work harder to see more often. Dugon was not seen. We asked divers, went to the next bay Equinox El Nabaa Resort 3 *, but never saw. Although many said that he was swimming somewhere, they saw him a few days ago and regularly. But it is best in the morning before breakfast or after 16-17. The boys went scuba diving in Port Galib. Those who did not scuba diving saw DUGON. Someone gave the signal and everyone on the ship sailed to him in a friendly manner. When the boys arrived, the dugong had already surfaced. It was our biggest disappointment on this trip. The bay where he was seen is the first bay to the right of the city of Port Khalib.
The only disadvantage of Kahraman beach is the red flag. Only 1 day the yellow flag hung all day, and so you could swim only in the afternoon.
We used to swim, because in the morning we often go to Dabab, and in the evening to swim from the pier is just crazy. Yes, by the way, you can come to breakfast when there are no overseers. Very cool. But if you go in autumn or winter and the flag is always red - it's not very good. The bus to Dabab runs on schedule. It is advisable to make an appointment at the reception. But not everyone does this and not always. Personally, we always drove without problems. On the last day, the daughter did not want to leave Dabab. It is very cool to swim with a mask on the right reef right on the shore. Water is like tea, in which only fish are visible. Well, I can't convey that feeling. SUPER! !!
3) Pools. Everything is good. The main three-level - generally excellent. I never swam in our Gadenivskyi. The man bathed in it at night. No one was expelled. In summer everything is warm. By the way, the Kalimera pools are quite old, in many places the film has peeled off. And Active pool is very deep.
My daughter and I were walking, we decided to try it, but it wasn't here.
But to be honest, I love hotels with 1 pool. I like to have everything at hand, on the first day to choose your favorite lounger by the sea and pool, and not go to the pools as a tour.

4) Power. As for Egypt, it's just wonderful. WARNING! We rested in the Italian season. In Gaden we were the only ones from Ukraine or Russia. There were 3-5 Russians in the Beach. During our stay in Gaden food was no different from Beach. I even liked it more. And the fact that there are no queues and crowds for breakfast and dinner - that's all. Our cheese has always been tastier. No less fruit. Only tea in the bags did not seem to be. Although I do not remember exactly. No animals, as someone wrote, fell into the plate. And more. We used all the bars of the Beach. And french fries at 11 took, and watermelons, and ice cream kids themselves. And near the main pool so always. And beer or wine in particular.
As we were told, we were only allowed to use the beach bars. But everyone enjoyed it.
By the way, for the entire hotel chain we were the only ones with transparent bracelets (inscription in blue). What they mean - and did not understand. Italian AI without alcohol (these are green bracelets in Gaden). They saw that they occasionally bought something at the bar. Personally, we did not see any Italian drunk or even more intoxicated. We have never been to a disco. I wanted to, my husband did not. And did not go. In the Beach bracelets are white or red. I do not know the difference.
